Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch was the original namesake of the McKellar’s citrus farm back in 1927. On this ranch, Hugh and Vernice McKellar built a home and raised their family. Under the new name of McKellar Ranch, their son, and our current owner, Farmer Bob McKellar, still farms the same citrus orchards that his father Hugh planted years and years ago. Spanning generations, the farm has been many things to many people. This place has been home to countless memories that have helped mold and shape lives. Kernville Ranch is nestled in acres of green meadows in the Southern Sierra Mountains. Two wings, The Log Cabin originally built in the 1890s has two Bedrooms upstairs and a living room, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs. The Meadow wing is attached. The master ensuite bedroom looks out to the redwoods and meadows. A queen bed with a built-in bunk bed or reading nook. The kitchenette has a washer and drier, breakfast bar with stovetop, and fridges. The second living room has additional built-in beds.
