“The Carnegie Science Center was the prefect choice for our wedding, and working with the wonderful people there was a pleasure! We'd gotten engaged under the solar eclipse of 2017, and were enthralled by the idea of having one simulated for our guests in the planetarium on site. Despite covid greatly delaying our plans, we finally toured the venue in 2023 and fell in love with the gorgeous view of the city from their Point View Hall, which is perhaps the greatest view of Pittsburgh there is! After a small, more intimate ceremony under the 2024 eclipse, we had our big event with friends and family that May, and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the unique touches only made possible by the science center such as the planetarium show, the cocktail hour among their exhibit floor, and the liquid nitrogen cocktails served! The food prepared by the venue was delicious, and everybody who corresponded with us -from the theater team, event management, etc.- was both delightful and professional, and clearly were enthusiastic about making our event as amazing as possible, and they most certainly succeeded! They also made it very easy to select 3rd party vendors that they had worked with closely in the past for the music, decor, transportation, etc. They even helped to reunite us with a few items that were accidentally left behind after the wedding! If you want to host a unique event with a gorgeous view and a very professional staff, then we can't recommend the Carnegie Science Center more!”
