From our initial phone call, after interviewing a few different DJs from different companies, we knew Chuck would be the right fit. Throughout the planning process he was very accommodating, and the mydeejay planning portal was incredibly thorough and easy to navigate. Chuck arrived early to set up for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. His equipment was top of the line - everyone said our ceremony music (which was played outside during an incredibly windy day) sounded like live string music. His indoor set up was incredibly sleek looking. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. “DJ Casanova was recommended to us by our venue and we could not have been happier with our decision to have him DJ our wedding reception. He is extremely organized and responsive. He shared a wedding planning sheet with us that allowed us to build our timeline and reception playlist. He also allowed us to create our own playlists for cocktail hour and dinner music (though he has some of his own playlists that we 'stole' some songs from too). What really made DJ Casanova stand out was that he met with us virtually (we don't live in the DMV area) multiple times before our wedding. His main focus during the first session was to learn about us as individuals and a couple, as well as our families. The second session was focused on logistics, name pronunciations, etc. He was extremely receptive to our requests and made the wedding day exactly what we wanted. Many of our guests asked us how we found our DJ because they were so blown away with the musical selections he played and how friendly he was during the reception.
