As a photographer, I've shot at a lot of venues & Ardenwood always tops the charts There is a lot of space to move around; especially in the reception space! That's something not a lot of ballrooms and even outdoor venues offer. The spaces are also gorgeous, which is a plus for photos! But the cherry on the pie will always be the coordinators you work with; Lindsey and Claire are amazing at caring for you (and us vendors!), taking care of the details, and turning your dream into a reality. If you're thinking about Ardenwood, just book it already! :)

Those are the two of the r elements I look for when sourcing a space to book for my events. Tarocco is such a beautiful space and the owner, Sequoia, and her team are incredibly easy to work with. From a photography and videography standpoint, the natural light is absolutely perfect. Communication prior, during and after our events were flawless and the food… I’ve had 2 events here and every time the food was both delicious to eat and look at. Parking is ample and the space is easy to find. I honestly can’t say enough about this space. The opportunities to make the interior your own is endless thanks to the minimalist decor. Tarocco is easily one of my top 5 places to book in the Bay Area and I continue to refer anyone here without hesitation.

Built in 1902 by the renowned architect Bernard Maybeck in traditional Arts and Crafts style, it's designed to create a cozy, intimate feeling. The crowning glory of the club is the three-story Great Hall. With its vaulted ceiling, massive stone fireplace, and stained-glass windows featuring heraldic crests of the great universities of the world, it's reminiscent of many a European cathedral. Light from the floor-to-ceiling windows warms the redwood paneling and suffuses the Hall in a golden glow. Two charming smaller spaces are also available for functions. The Heyns and Seaborg rooms (named respectively after a chancellor and a distinguished University Nobel Laureate) both have French doors leading to a private outdoor area with a garden view. The Faculty Club has been serving its members and guests for over 100 years and will do everything possible to make your event successful and enjoyable.

The Faculty Club was a pleasure to work with. They're very professional and have great insights into different setups and options. They worked with all our vendors and made sure all items we needed were provided. Setup and breakdown were also done in an efficient manner and very happy with our cocktail hour on the glade and dinner inside.

You can opt to exchange vows in front of those wooden entry doors, or take full advantage of the patio’s pièce de résistance and say “I do” beneath an asymmetrical canvas canopy. We were hired by a family to provide security for their sons Bar Mitzvah. The facility was easy to work with and very professional. I bragged so much about the venue to my fiancé that she setup an appointment with Deshawn to tour the facility. Deshawn was amazing she was very personable, knowledgeable about the facility and her customer service was exceptional. She walked us through the facility and gave us lots of advice and ideas on how to setup our ceremony and reception. This was a no brainier decision for us. If only every aspect of wedding planning could be this easy! Now we’re booked to have our wedding at this gorgeous facility in 2023!

The pier at Nick’s Cove was the perfect setting for our intimate (COVID) wedding. While the boathouse itself is public property, the staff at Nick’s went out of their way to support our event. Tomales Bay at sunset is a pretty spectacular way to exchange vows and Nick’s hamburgers in the boathouse made for a perfect wedding feast!

The Gables Wine Country Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. It had an intimate vibe and had such a variety of beautiful atmospheric additions too such as: a charming historic barn, redwood trees, winery, and Victorian building in the backdrop, it couldn't have been better. Pam & Larry (the owners and managers of Gables Wine Country Inn) were so kind when we came to them for a last minute wedding and were so flexible and adaptable with the things we wanted for our wedding. They were extremely helpful in giving us our perfect day: the decor was gorgeous, the venue amazing, food & drink was the best and our guests had a great time too. It was a very easy planning process and they were very easy going about our wishes so I highly recommend this venue for a wedding, it was a wonderful experience and they couldn't have made the stress of planning a wedding any easier. It was a beautiful day and we have wonderful memories and photos of it forever, I couldn't be happier with it!

Enjoy the serenity of a gentle flowing waterway that runs the length of the property and a variety of colorful flowers, trees, and grapevines throughout, the delta breezes, and gorgeous sunsets. The large lush grass area can accommodate a tent for additional covered event space. Anything you can imagine, we can make happen! Our wedding was going to be on the smaller side but I still wanted it to be more special than just taking place in a hotel conference room. This was a completely DIY wedding, which I was personally funding, and I was doing my best to keep costs under control without compromising quality. After doing countless hours of research online about weddings and venues, it seemed everything would come with a huge price tag - far beyond my budget. I was worried that the challenges I was facing would be insurmountable and I'd have to settle for less than what I'd dreamed of. I knew I wanted to hold it at a winery, preferably one with beautiful views and perhaps a water feature. Clarksburg, being only 15 minutes from my house, was the region I wanted to explore. After visiting two other wineries in the area - one of which had a less than ideal location and poor customer service, and the other that was nice but WAY out of my price range for a 60-person guestlist - my final visit was to Julietta Winery. One of the owners, Julie, gave us the tour and we were immediately grateful for her attentiveness and input. When she showed us the back barn by the slough, I knew this could be the perfect venue! It was private, had separate but adjacent areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, plenty of nearby private parking, loads of charm, and was absolutely gorgeous. It was somewhat of a blank slate, but had special features like chandeliers in the barn and fountains throughout the grounds, and with a few added touches it could certainly be a creative bride's dream. Her suggestions, examples and expertise solidified that conclusion. After seeing the private ceremony site, the reception area and the bridal suite, we were invited back to the main building for a tasting. Unlike the other venues we had visited, all of the wines were equally delicious, further settling the decision to get married there. I even joined the wine club that day. Another thing that set Julietta Winery apart was that they allowed me to bring in my own vendors. A lot of places won't do this. Since I was putting 100% of my effort into making this a wonderful event, it was helpful to have this leeway and I was able to choose my DJ, musicians, photographer, "day of coordinator", transportation, baker and caterer. Julie and her staff were so accommodating, and Julie even took on the task of being an additional "day of" coordinator and "calmer of nerves". The wedding turned out to be everything I could have hoped for and more, and every single guest was amazed by the beautiful venue, the quality wine and the service received. It was perfect in every single way. I just wish I could share pictures with this review. We're so grateful to Julietta Winery!

We rented Golden Hill Ranch for an intimate wedding celebration. The property is stunning, and the pool is so much fun for hanging out during the day. If you’re hosting friends or family from out of town, this is a great option as you can use the property for the pool during the daytime and then use lawn for the evening events. The staff were great and we were so happy with how everything turned out!

This past year I got to photograph a wedding at Los Altos History Museum. I was excited to work here and it did not disappoint. Los Altos History Museum is a special venue. The first thing that captures your attention is the charming restored house and beautiful garden setting and amazing trees that surround the property. It’s a wedding photographers dream venue. The Staff did a awesome job at executing the couples vision and making their day seamless. A great venue to work with and from my perspective, a great venue to have your dream wedding at!

We have lovely flower gardens, extraordinary ridge-top views, a magical first look pergola, lavender and daisy fields, river beds, willow trees, grape vines, redwood groves and 360 degree views! There is a lovely tent for a covered reception for up to 200 that includes tables, chairs, bar, lighting and chandelier. The cocktail reception is held at the gazebo including cocktail furniture set inside an incredible rose garden with Italian string lighting, a fabulous bar and games area. The ceremony can be under a willow or in the great field and includes a custom arbor and ceremony chairs. The welcome beverage area is under an ancient willow and includes the bar. A bride's cottage and groom's quarters, first look pergola, ride to the top of the ridge for sunset shots and so much more await you at Rosewood.

To start, the grounds at Rosewood will literally take your breath away. From the beautiful gardens, to the ceremony views, and the amazing included reception tent – Rosewood has it all. Not only was Rosewood the most beautiful venue we toured, but it had the most to offer. The gardens are so expansive, gorgeous, and well-manicured and there are so many different areas for our guests to enjoy. Other venues had more strict guidelines on what vendors would be allowed, which Rosewood assured us would not be the case. Additionally, the number of rentals needed at other venues far exceeded what we will require at Rosewood. Aside from the venue, Ann and Dan, the owners of the venue, could not be more helpful, knowledgeable, or dedicated. Ann took us on our tour, and I was almost brought to tears with the detailed descriptions given of throughout each segment of the tour. Ann gave us so many touching options that we would have for our day and added professional insight to assist with our planning. Ann has a way of giving you facts and advice without being pushy. As a couple who has no experience with planning a wedding, Ann’s advice was so appreciated. In addition to tips about planning, Ann was able to put both of our minds at ease with how seamlessly our day will run and the promise to be there for us on the big day. Ann and Dan are so dedicated to ensuring your day is perfect and it is very evident with the attention to detail seen around the venue. I cannot wait to write another review after our wedding date next fall. If you are thinking of having an outdoor ceremony in Sonoma County, you cannot beat Rosewood.

Where to begin...I absolutely LOVED working with Angelica & The Willow Ballroom. The Pearl will forever hold a special place in the hearts of myself and my husband. It was the first venue we toured and we knew right away it was going to make for such a special wedding day. We are now 2 days post wedding and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The entire planning process was a breeze thanks to Carrie. All of our guests raved abut how amazing it was that the ceremony and reception were at the same location! We did our ceremony on the roof, as well as our cocktail hour on the roof. Then we had guests walk downstairs to our reception area. The bartenders were incredible and did a fantastic job keeping our 130 guests well fueled. We hired Melons Catering, a caterer on The Pearl's short list of caterers, who absolutely knocked it out of the park when it came to the food. Guests couldn't stop talking about the quality and service of dinner! We are over the moon with how our wedding went and have zero bad things to say about The Pearl, or anyone who works there. If you're looking for a venue that screams urban city, but green and organic as well... look no further, as The Pearl can do it all. 10/10 recommend!!

You can reserve The Interactive lobby, fully operational interactive exhibit galleries, the IMAX Dome Theater or our rooftop terrace, which features stunning views of downtown landmarks. Find the perfect space, or combination of spaces, for your next event or meeting at The Interactive. Plus we’re located in the heart of Downtown San Jose, just steps away from public transit, the San Jose McEnery Convention Center and several major hotels.

We hosted our October 2023 Wedding Reception at The Tech Interactive and I highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a unique (and literally interactive) venue. It was so much fun and our guests had a great time!  We rented the entire lower level and they kept the galleries and exhibits open so our guests could play with them throughout the night! They were a hit during cocktail hour as well as for taking breaks from the dance floor (although we still always had plenty of people on the dance floor!)  Our event was mostly adults with a handful of younger relatives, and everyone had a great time. The exhibits at The Tech Interactive are perfect for quick and fun interactions no matter how interested (or not interested) any individual guest was in science/technology. Our engineer friends had a great time with the Cyber Detectives activities, while even our least technically-inclined guests enjoyed playing around with things like the Jet Pack Chair and Solve For Earth. This was truly best of both worlds, as we didn't have to give up any of the "traditional" wedding elements to make room for the fun of the exhibits - our tables and decorations were set up beautifully, we still had appetizers and an open bar, and like I mentioned above, there were still always plenty of people on the dance floor! We actually didn't even need to decorate as much as we might have with a more "traditional" venue either, as the existing colors, lighting, and layout of The Tech make for a strong baseline to build from. Our primary contact was Lolita and she was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. She was there with us every step of the way, from our initial tour to our reception itself. She made sure to consider exactly what we were looking for to make our wedding special and was extremely organized and great and communicating with us as well as our other vendors. She created a great layout based on our table count, dance floor size, and the space the caterer needed, and she and her team went above and beyond and worked with our caterer and coordinator to help set everything up between the public close time and the start of our event so that everything was perfect when our guests got there. They even let us customize the exterior lighting color of the building during our event. The physical location of The Tech Interactive is fantastic as well - right in downtown San Jose within walking distance of tons of hotels and two parking garages where The Tech validates. The city closed off Market Street right in front of The Tech relatively last minute for a public city event, but Lolita was on top of it and worked with us and our shuttle company to arrange for pickup and a smooth experience for our guests. In summary: If you're looking to do something unique with your wedding or event, I can't recommend The Tech Interactive enough. Lolita was fantastic to work with and our guests couldn't stop saying how it was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to.

It was special to introduce so many out-of-town guests to this beautiful classic of a venue in the heart of our city and dance the night away. I have worked at Maple Lawn over the past 7 years photographing weddings there and every time I get to work at the property I am so happy to work with Sue the coordinator. She is a joyous person to be around and exactly who you would want coordinating your wedding. She is on time, personable and knows how to run a wedding. The property has a lot of space for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready and many unique features such as the 19th century mansion and the ceremony site area surrounded by large beautiful magnolia trees. The guests love being able to explore the grounds and the couples adore the beautiful, unique flavor of the venue. I would highly recommend Maple Lawn to any prospective couples.
