From there he started to dj on his own as he became more confident and has done many Weddings/events and still continues. He later also took more courses to learn more about djing such as scratching and live mashups, but also took courses on how to produce his own music. Dj Mcvibes now works with various dj companies and runs his own dj business.

I love a good love story. I'm completely serious when I say that I go through a romance novel once every 3 days. It's gotten to the point where my husband has given me a budget on the amount of books I can buy because I go through them so quickly! I especially love the stories of the man who is completely head over heals for his lady. A relationship built on a deep connection. An understanding of each others quirks. A marriage of best friends. I started in photography much as everyone else did. What was once a hobby in 2002 quickly became a passion. I started out with a 35mm film set up and would hang out in the city capturing candid moments of people going about their day to day lives. For me, it was like stepping outside the world around me and documenting it like looking through a window into a world I was no longer part of. In 2008, when I myself got married, I realized that a wedding day is one of the most emotional moments for a couple. Not only for them but for the families involved as well! It was Oct. 31st, 2008 when I shot my first wedding. I haven't looked back since.

I'm Garret, and I want to help tell your story. Since my first photo class in college, I've been hooked. I found myself bringing my camera everywhere, but I wanted to do more. I started working with a professional wedding photographer and discovered that I loved the chaos, emotions, and opportunities that a wedding day presents. That was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. Hundreds of weddings later, I'm still enjoying what I do as much as I did when I first started, perhaps even more. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I worked for a decade in journalism in the US and internationally as an Art Director and Creative Director at the Philadelphia Weekly, The Wall Street Journal and WSJ.com. After leaving journalism in 2004, I opened my own studio in Manhattan where I lived for 20 years, met my husband, and had twins before moving to Princeton, NJ in 2014.
