“Jorge from Sound Event DJs played at 2 of our son’s weddings and was absolutely fantastic, and we were fortunate to get him for my husband’s 70th birthday party. It’s now been a week, and our guests are still talking about the great music and DJ. Although we had chosen songs to play on Sound Event DJ’s easy planning website, only a good DJ knows which ones to actually play and when to play them. Jorge totally read the crowd, understood their culture (mainly Caribbean) and knew the timing…when to play the fast songs and slow ones, and when to mix them up to keep everyone on the dance floor. Paulish kept in constant communication with us in the months leading up to the wedding. It was very easy to make adjustments to the schedule and setlist. He was ready with suggestions and tips for aspects of the music and the schedule that we weren’t sure about. Our wedding would have undoubtedly been more disorganized and everything would have likely gotten off schedule if not for the advice and flexibility of D.J. Paulish. Especially if you don’t have a formal wedding planner, we recommend an experienced D.J. like Dan – he simultaneously went with the flow and kept everything on track. And despite some of the chaos going on “behind the scenes” with other aspects of the wedding, this D.J. kept the party going and made sure that all of that chaos stayed behind the scenes and that all of the guests continued to have a good time. There was always a crowd dancing on the dance floor and there was always another great song lined up to keep the party going. We highly recommend anyone looking for a D.J. to go with D.J. Paulish!”

They made selecting our music for the evening a breeze, through their App you can clearly label what songs to play and when. What I loved about their services is that you can choose how much you want to stick to your playlist or let the professionals add songs of their own. You can also mix and match what you need—For a wedding of 120, we selected their 1st package option and then added extra lights and a photo booth. The lights were used to light up our first dance in front of the gazebo outside, I was worried that even with the lights it would be too dark but it was everything I had dreamed of. The photo booth added that extra element of flair toward the end of the night when you needed a break from the dance floor. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the flow of the evening, thanks to our MC Henry who ushered folks from space to space with his silky voice. Every step along the way they were communicative, easy to work with, professional and fun! We are so grateful we chose them for our special day”

“Roberto was very communicative and attentive when I shared what I needed for lighting during my reception. He went the extra mile to show me patterns that he could get for the theme of the wedding that wasn't standard (stars). He also made extra sure the day before the wedding to get the details I wanted executed.
