The idea was conceived in the Grand Cayman Islands over cold beer and jerk chicken. One man’s love for delicious, wood-fired chicken and the game of pickleball led to the 2016 founding of Chicken N Pickle’s flagship location in Kansas City and has quickly developed into a wildly popular destination for food and fun in other markets.

Think of me less like your wedding photographer, and more like your bestie with kick-ass camera skills. I've been lucky enough to photograph some of the coolest couples in the coolest places and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I have documented over one hundred love stories across six states since I started my business in 2015. My passion for capturing real and raw moments is what drew me to the wild world of wedding photography and although I have explored several different genres over the years, I consider weddings and elopements my specialty.

I am a young adult who found my passion for photography through the kids I babysit and through my travels. I love to shoot any type of event or just any ordinary night. I want to show people how I look at the world through my camera lens! I can not resist a chubby faced baby, third wheeling with people in love and making myself part of everyone's family.

We are a husband and wife team… no, I don't like that expression (overused)… we are both photographers who love the visual arts and who love working together. We love our kids, we love the ocean (although we currently live about as far away from the ocean as you can get), we love music, we love Jesus, and we love photographing people and telling stories through the imagery that we create.

The Ridge provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding ceremony + reception. Your guests will be seated among the beautiful trees and scenery as they wait for you to make your way down the path to the arbor. The arbor can be adorned with chandeliers, flowers, fabric, or nothing at all! You don’t need much decor at The Ridge due to the attention to detail, both indoors and out.

​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for over 34 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have 30+ years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Walter Kurzweil had deep ties to the Raymore community as well as had family connections to the Maxine Dean family (Walter was her Uncle), another prominent Raymore name. ​ If you go back even further, our property was granted to a young man in 1857 as part of the “ScripWarrant Act of 1847.” At that time, public land was gifted through this Act to military personnel for their service in the Mexican-American War.
