Tappo at the Museum is a breathtaking, Neoclassical-style event venue in Buffalo, NY, for weddings and special occasions. This historic facility served as a host for the Pan-American Exposition at the turn of the century. Make your milestone a moment everyone will remember at this one-of-a-kind location. Over thousands of square feet, we can accommodate 200 guests for sit down dinners and has a fine selection of indoor and outdoor spaces. Get started on your love story with an outdoor ceremony on our Terrace or indoors in our Penfold Gallery. Afterwards, head outdoors to our partly covered Portico where guests can enjoy cocktail hour. The State Court Room, complete with a sleek black floor, is ideal for lavish dinner parties. Oak Knolls Manor was built in 1906 and is a preserved Wells Barn in Western New York. We host only ONE event a weekend which allows our clients the opportunity to slow down, have time to set up, and enjoy family and friends. The rural location really creates a destination wedding feel. The venue features our silos with propane fire pits and outdoor furniture to relax and take in the views. The silos are also a great spot for a cigar bar. Equipped with two large decks on either side of the venue, one is covered and remains completely waterproof even when the weather doesn't cooperate. The other overlooks the Genesee Valley where there is plenty of open space to see for miles. We have tables and padded fruitwood chairs to accommodate up to 250 guests. Including 8 farm tables, 20 rectangular tables, and 10 rounds. We also have durable padded ceremony chairs and two wood stained arbors to choose from along with ceremony coordination services. All included with venue and ceremony costs.
