The treasury on the plaza was EVERYTHING we could have hoped and dreamed of! The aesthetics alone is incredible, added our decorator! It was our perfect wedding all the way around. We had our wedding here in September 2024 and it beyond met our expectations. The venue itself was so beautiful and we had such a great experience with the staff! Everybody was so personable and helpful in making our day what it was! I could not recommend, this venue enough. If you were looking for an outdoor space, this is the one for you. It’s still provides wonderful coverage without sacrificing the feeling of being outside. The lighting was amazing and it really gave such a romantic atmosphere as the sun went down. The grounds also make a beautiful place for photographs!! This is a very special and intimate place for a wedding!

I didn't know about The Markland House until recently. I always passed by, but never realized it was a venue! Such a gorgeous location. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to get married...from a photographer's perspective, there are so many beautiful photo locations both indoors and outdoors!

The Crystal Ballroom in St. Augustine was a dream venue for our wedding. The communication with the staff, especially Carlie and Kat, was absolutely perfect - they were very understanding, accommodating, and ensured everything went smoothly on our big day. Carlie literally put out fires and made sure there were no hiccups. We felt we got the best value for our money with this venue. One highlight was surprising our guests with our officiant from Cush Character Entertainment ( he also does Chewbacca , Beetlejuice, Captain Jack sparrow,and fang from Jacksonville iceman dressed as the Grinch - it added a fun, one-of-a-kind touch to our special day! From start to finish, the Crystal Ballroom team helped create the wedding of our dreams through their phenomenal service and attention to detail.

And the handoff to the event team was flawless. Our event coordinator was helpful when reviewing our options for food and drink selections and very responsive and flexible to our requests. Our experience with rooming requests and lists in other weddings (3) had not been great, but with this hotel and our event planner, everything was exactly correct and with all requests met. Our suite was the perfect size for entertaining all weekend. The food at the Welcome Party was beautifully displayed and delicious. The Duval room was the perfect size and the attending staff and bartender could not have done a better job. We also hosted a Farewell brunch and again the room size was perfect and the food was “best brunch food ever” as exclaimed by our guests. We would highly recommend this hotel !

As we approach our second anniversary, we’d like to reflect on just how perfect our day was. When we got engaged, Up the Creek Farms was the first venue we thought of, however, like most couples we were trying to figure out numbers. We were able to sit down with Jess on property at UTC and discuss our vision for our day. She was able to lead us to a plan that not only fit our vision but our budget, too. We picked out linens, details for the bar, dessert table, buffet line, and ceremony decor. It was so nice to be able to actually see the items in person and pick out what we liked right there on the spot. The team helped us with the reception layout and seating chart, too, which was a huge stress relief! Jess even set up our meeting with the caterer so we could sample various items before making a decision on what we’d serve for dinner. After we got the above details in place, we were pretty much set! When I say we did not have to think in the weeks leading up to the wedding, I’m not kidding. They were in communication with all our vendors to ensure the day went smoothly. On the day of our wedding, Wes and I were able to take our time getting ready in the Declan house as the team set up for the ceremony and reception. (Which, by the way, the Declan house is a dream. There was something so calming about the house in those hours before our wedding.) Jess, Tim and the rest of the team worked so well together and with the vendors they recommended. When I took a walk through the boathouse prior to the ceremony, I was absolutely blown away. It was better than anything I could’ve imagined. The tables were set beautifully, not a detail was spared. Since the wedding planning process, and then the actual day of ran so smoothly (word choice), we truly were able to soak in the day with our friends and family. They even took care of making sure left over desserts, party favors, cards, guest book, etc. were nicely packaged and placed in our parents’ cars! We still say it was the best day we’ve ever had. We wouldn’t change a thing. We can’t thank the UTC family enough for making our special day perfect.

It was such a pleasure to work with their staff, they were so accommodating and amazing. They met all of our guests differing dietary needs in addition to providing the most delicious wedding cake of all time! We still have people raving about the food. We could not imagine a better (more beautiful) location to host our wedding/reception than the Depot Event Space. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking to host any type of event. It’s also an added bonus that the bride and groom have a dedicated place to get ready and a place to stay that night. It’s one less thing you have to worry about. I can’t recommend the estate and Cara and her staff enough. Our day was truly magical and so very memorable!

From the start she was responsive, flexible, accommodating, helpful, attentive, and A SWEETHEART! Her and Joe (the owners) are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The property is well kept and just so beautiful. I toured so many venues but this one took the cake. Any questions I had in the process, Holly was there to answer ASAP and if she didn’t know, she sure found the answer quick. Wedding planning is already so stressful but she honestly took so many burdens off my back because of her knowledge and willingness to help with whatever she could. HUGE bonus they have SO much decor you can use which is nice because we all know it can be so expensive. Also, what I loved is that I visited the venue every few months leading up to the wedding to go over our check list etc so it kept everything organized and everybody on the same page. Carey the bartender - a freaking doll. She knows her stuff and was almost spot on suggesting what we needed to buy for our open bar as far as alcohol and garnishes. Tony (photographer if you go with their package) UHHMAZING! He is so attentive to the bride and grooms needs, he has such a great personality, super talented/knows his stuff, and I got sneak peaks TWO days after the wedding! I’m not even sure how to put into words how absolutely amazing Bridle Oaks was to work with. Shawna is the sweetest and funniest person and made everything about our experience from the meetings to the wedding day so much fun and just such a breeze! Our coordinator, Kim, is an actual angel, a legit miracle worker and we are so beyond blessed to have had such an amazing team on our wedding day. They explain everything in so much detail during the meetings and they think of literally everything you could possible need for a wedding! There’s no way we could’ve done any of this without everyone at Bridle Oaks. Everyone who attended our wedding talked about how absolutely beautiful the venue is, how kind everyone was, how incredibly detailed everything was and that the entire thing from start to finish flowed so so smoothly! And people are still talking about how awesome the beer mule was!! Every part of the entire day was a total hit and these memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives. This venue was fantastic! There were a few details that didn’t pan out day of (seating chart, style of tables, sweet heart table and decor for it, and flower girl baskets) but it didn’t stop or really effect the wedding or reception! I would just say double check your details the morning you get there with your wedding planner and everything else will be good as gold! The party was so much fun and they’re really catered to us as much as possible! Great crew!
