Our guests and we had a wonderful experience at Le District at our wedding in May 2022. Since our family abroad couldn't make it to the wedding, we were only looking for a space to host a dinner for our 50 or so friends and we thought about Liberty Bistro in Le District since we used to live in the BPC area and had brunch there and we thought the interior design was beautiful and the size of the place fit our needs perfectly. The location is just perfect by the waterfront with an amazing river view and there is also an oval lawn right outside in which we thought about doing the ceremony but unfortunately, we eventually had to do it at Belvedere Plaza 200 feet away since it just so happened that the lawn was closed for maintenance that day. The Liberty Bistro restaurant was able to book out the entire indoor dining space for us without venue fees provided that we meet a spending minimum on food and wine. We had a great experience nailing down the food and drink menu with them - the restaurant had great options and communications were effortless. We were able to bring our own flowers and balloons and our friends DIY'ed the decorations though there wasn't too much to decorate since the space already looked nice and sweet. We also had our own seating plan which involved moving the tables and chairs and Le District was able to help us with it too, apart from the booths which cannot be physically moved. The night went smoothly; we were able to hook up an iPad to the sound system and play our own hand-picked wedding playlist; The guests enjoyed a 3-course prix-fixe menu (with additional vegetarian options); we also did our first dance under the beautiful tree in the center of the restaurant. At the end of the night, when we net out a few hundred under the min. spend, the restaurant was able to throw in a couple of champagne bottles for us to take home. We wish we could share photos of that wonderful evening to show how great it was and we really appreciate Le District for the great food and drinks, service, and communications, and just for being the place where it all happened.

My wife and I were determined to have our wedding in New York City and researched a bunch of venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Radegast was the last place that we visited, and we put our deposit down the day after our walk through and ended the search. Sean managed the booking for us, and we felt his attention and thoroughness immediately. This was in stark contrast to the apathy that we felt at other places; almost like we needed to work for any enthusiasm from the venue about booking with them. We felt “wined and dined” by Sean and super confident that he would take the event as seriously as we were. We ended up booking The Bier House space with the buffet food option. Our intuition was right, Radegast was incredible! Not only were they the most affordable option that we could find in the city for our number of guests, but the space was so beautiful that we didn’t have to spend money on any additional decor. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and friendly, and all of our guests were really impressed. Sean and the staff at Radegast “bent over backwards” (a quote from our wedding planner) to make sure that our vision for the day matched reality. They helped solve any problem that came along, and did so with a smile. They were as accommodating on the day of the event as they were in the months leading up to it. The price was exactly what we were quoted, there were not any unexpected add-ons or fees. The event was an absolute blast and the venue had a lot to do with it. Also the location is incredible. Williamsburg is perfect for everyone; your NYC friends are a subway ride away, your weird conservative relatives from Long Island can park in the parking garage literally across the street and run home right after the event, and anyone unfamiliar with the city will leave the event loving how pretty Brooklyn is. This is absolutely the best value for a wedding venue in New York City and the positive vibes are through the roof!

The Liberty House was amazing venue to have our wedding. We had both ceremony and reception there. Everything went so smooth and the guest appreciated it all. Weather was going back and forth so we were able to have it outside with a tent to protect the guest. Food was amazing. All in all I’d do it again in a heart beat.

We knew we wanted to host our wedding in Jersey City so our guests could enjoy the skyline and the water views. After viewing multiple venues, we landed on Maritime Parc for 7/20/24 and it was the best decision we made. Our wedding planning ran smoothly because we worked with Maritime’s team. Working with Priscila, the sales manager, was like working with family. She was available whenever I needed her which made getting answers to questions quick and easy. She went above and beyond her role. This venue offers a classy food tasting and cake tasting at their restaurant. Even though they host weddings every weekend, they made us feel that ours was very special and important. We appreciated working with Alexis on our timelines and floor-plan. She was very organized and thought of all the little things that we never would have!! Our day of Captains and Bridal Attendant, Marc, Rita and Patricia were the best!! Always there when we needed them and so so kind. My family members raved about their helpfulness. The entire staff at Maritime (servers, bartenders, valet, etc) were professional and attentive. It is rare to have such good and consistent service at a wedding. Lastly… the FOOD. What other wedding venue serves Scallops over braised short ribs?? None! Choose Maritime for a stress free wedding year!

Skinos hosted our engagement party with 100 guests, where we reserved the first floor. Everything from the communication and logistics to the service and atmosphere was beyond amazing! In the pre-planning, they were accommodating, kind and a pleasure to work with. At the event, they were organized, had great music and had friendly quick bartending service. Their drinks were amazing and the place was stunning - all of our guests kept commenting on how beautiful it was.

My wife and I got married in an intimate brunch ceremony in the Garden room and it was absolutely everything we wanted. The space is beautiful with tons of natural light and we were able to comfortably fit our 20 guests photographer, second shooter, and planner. The staff were super helpful and beyond friendly - our guests never had to wait around to flag someone down and they were all very happy with the steady flow of drinks and food. The staff also quickly accommodated our request to bring out many orders of the famous pancakes (which really are that good) with the rest of the food (rather than after) and did some great jigsawing with all the food on the table. They also helpfully packaged up all the leftovers into a bunch of bags, allowing our us and our guests to take home extra food. Would highly recommend Sunday in Brooklyn, particularly if you are looking for a brunch time event. Only downside was the flooring in the Garden room is wood with a decent amount of room between planks and my heels kept getting stuck between them.

What an amazing venue. Grand but intimate, this venue offers the best of both worlds. It’s old world charm made this the perfect venue for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding. The hospitality team MMEink the runs the venue took care of everything thing for us from start to finish. MMEink took care of all the hospitality and production needs all the way down to the wedding favors which made planning an out of state wedding super easy. With high ceilings and white washed brick walls, the sun-filled room features original tile floors, dating back to the early 1900s. Antique long leaf heart pine, sourced from the Hudson Company and estimated to be between 300 and 600 years old, is repurposed for walls, tabletops and the uniquely designed bar with wrap-around seating. Lempert, inspired by 18th century scientific botanical engravings, collaborated with Flavor Paper to design wallpaper featuring the namesake Meadowsweet herb, and it’s seen throughout the restaurant in various iterations. Her photos, taken on the family’s property upstate, feature plants, vegetables and herbs and are also found throughout the restaurant. Bringing life to the space, a lofted mezzanine herb garden above the bar, which was created in collaboration with Brooklyn Grange, overlooks the dining room and features fresh rosemary, lemon thyme and mint, among others, used for cocktails.

You wouldn’t know one of the most beautiful venue and chapel is hiding on Manhattanville College campus but wow does Reid Castle deliver. Every room is more beautiful than the next and the west wing where our reception was held is jaw dropping. If you love a vintage, dark wood and classic vibe- this is the venue for you. Shaun, who runs the show and executes perfection, is the BEST. From the first tour of the venue to the day of she made sure my vision came to life and I cannot thank her and her staff enough.

One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was booking Terrace On The Park! From our very first visit and up until our big day, they were super accommodating, responsive and very organized. We’re an international couple, that was looking for an affordable, large rooftop venue that could accommodate 140 guests. The TOTP team were thorough in explaining the contracts, allowed us as many venue visits as we wished and on the day of, provided white glove service! While it rained on our big day and plans needed to change, it was all done seamlessly. They provided a small buffet of fruit, salads, and drinks in the bridal suite while we waited for our pre-ceremony photoshoot to start and the guests to arrive. The food was amazing! We’re so glad we added in the sushi platter during the cocktail hour, the amuse bouche during dinner, (the lemon sorbet was delicious) and our signature cocktail (Lavender Gin Lemonade)! Our guests are still raving about how amazing the service, food, and drinks were. We even hired ND Cigars for our cocktail hour, which added a touch of class to our event. We brought our own DJ from home, but hired a few of their preferred vendors, ACM Event Group (equipment rental & MC) and Tino Photography, for which they were all a pleasure to work with! Just a few of the amazing staff we had the opportunity to work with at TOTP are: Ken Weintraub – Event Manager Nicole Barroca – Finalist Manager Jovanna Trapani – Operations Allison – Bridal Attendant PS... The morning after our wedding we met a couple staying at our hotel that also got married at Terrace On The Park, 41 years ago!!! We are so happy we found Celestine and could host our wedding there! When we first came across this venue, we instantly knew that it ticked all of our boxes. The views of the Manhattan Bridge and the downtown Manhattan skyline are gorgeous, the Mediterranean-style food is fantastic, and the staff is professional and attentive. We visited several times before the wedding to sample the menu and treat friends and family to a great time, and we were consistently impressed with the quality and the service. Working with the Celestine events team, Nisrine, Kirsten, and Krystle, was a breeze. During the entire period leading up to the wedding, we were in constant contact and had several meetings, which made us able to relax throughout the process, knowing that everything was completely under control. We had our separate day-of coordinator who integrated seamlessly with the Celestine team, and Krystle, our Celestine coordinator, on the wedding day. Once the big day came around, we could not have been more prepared and at ease. Everything worked and turned out as beautiful and perfect as we had hoped! Many of our guests have said (and are still telling us!) that this was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, with many of their compliments directed towards the venue, food, and staff. Among all the other wedding venues in DUMBO, Celestine stands out as a true gem. It has everything we could have wished for in a very intimate, beautiful setting that will leave memories for a lifetime and have us coming back for more!

Our wedding reception of 115 people was at The Dumbo Loft on October 21, 2023. First of all, it was the best decision ever to have our wedding events in Dumbo. Our out-of-town guests were enchanted by the neighborhood (despite LOTS of construction around), especially after we walked from the ferry at Brooklyn Bridge Park. The Dumbo Loft is a vacant space, great for couples who are looking for a blank slate to dress up however they'd like. The wood beams and exposed brick were a great backdrop for our evening wedding. We worked with RFC Productions to set up some uplighting on the walls and beautiful icicle lights over the dance floor. Paired with tons of (fake) candles, it ended up being a very beautiful setting for our reception. The folks at BK Venues could not have been more accommodating. They allowed us access to the space anytime we requested it. There was a ton of construction happening in the area during our wedding month, and they made sure to keep us posted on everything that was going on. The BK Venue spaces are pretty no-frills, and when we sent a list of small tweaks we noticed (a broken doorknob here, a broken coat rack there), they were extremely responsive and did their best to address everything we listed. All in all, I'm so happy we went with The Dumbo Loft - the event went extremely well and we got lots of compliments on the space!
