JMF Photography was born out of a deep-rooted passion for visual storytelling. My journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to capture the beauty and emotion of life’s fleeting moments in a way that transcends time. It all started with photographing my children’s sports events, where I discovered my love for the craft. Recognizing the potential to freeze not just a scene, but the essence of a memory, a feeling, or a story, I decided to go back to school to hone my skills. Now, I photograph something almost daily, continually refining my art.

Growing up I was very involved in the arts, but fear of other’s opinions and failure halted my pursuit. In college I studied art history instead of creating my own art. Lol, I guess that was safer. I was depressed and in a career that depleted me when I first picked up a camera in 2011. I was rolling on luck and intuition that I understood weddings as I had been a groomsmen 15 times and a best man 6 of those (currently at 18 and 8!). Holy Smokes, I guess it’s worked out, and I couldn’t be more fulfilled vocationally.

I'm Caroline, the eyes and heart behind Voisine Vision! I was born and raised in Michigan and found myself in Nashville after finishing my master's degree at Indiana University. I love spending time with people as much as I do with my camera. I am a proud mother of two theatrical cats and one house plant I have not managed to kill - yet. I’m romantically involved with art, history, music, and grand adventures, they serve as my muse and are the driving force behind everything I do creatively.

We are a wedding + elopement duo serving the Nashville area + some other special places that make us happy. We can’t wait to meet you! We started capturing weddings through covid when we were stuck at home and needed to find some way to be creative. Savannah went to school for videography and Jon is an OG drummer turned videographer that has really enjoyed getting to create. If we aren’t celebrating you and your love story, you can find us at the beach, probably eating some yummy food, and missing our fluff ball kitty at home. We are so easy going and love to be spontaneous with our plans.

When I was a kid all I wanted to be was a photographer (or a vet) and in 2019 o my husband gave me that opportunity. I left my corporate job to pursue my passion. I started a pet sitting business AND a photography business at the same time and I think it's safe to say that right now I am living the dream.
