They had advice and suggestions for every vendor, and please- take their advice. Our food and desserts were SUBLIME. They helped with any details, they answered questions whenever we had them, and they were extra helpful on the day of. We are incredibly grateful we chose Water’s Edge- we’d do it the exact same way in a heartbeat.”

They were responsive during the entire process, very kind, flexible, and generous with all of the decor items they already have and allow you to use with no additional charge. I am thrilled I found this place and it was an honor to have my wedding here.”

Our guests raved about the beauty of the venue and the delicious cuisine. We couldn't recommend The Lake Club more wholeheartedly for couples wanting a sophisticated and seamless wedding experience. I couldn’t sing enough praises for the amazing people, the beautiful venue, and the fantastic food this place has to offer. Not only are they affordable, but they will work with you on payments. Shannon was an absolute godsend in helping us plan for our big day. I could go on and on about how fantastic this place is, but I would probably run out of writing space. If you were looking for the perfect spot with a wonderfully historic and rustic atmosphere, do yourself a favor and give them a call!”

We were very pleased with both their communication and the final outcome. Email responses from their event coordinator were always fast, allowing us to quickly make decisions during the planning process. On the big day, the venue truly captured the romantic yet rustic vibe I had envisioned. From the string lights to the floral arrangements, all our decor came together beautifully. The staff provided quality service, attending to guests' needs. While a couple trays of cookies didn't make it out in time, it was a tiny hiccup during an otherwise flawless event. The chef prepared delicious entrees that had our guests raving. We highly recommend the Peter Allen Inn to other couples planning their dream wedding.”

Erin and her team were so responsive and organized throughout the planning process, which made things smooth and stress-free leading up to the big day. The venue itself has a beautiful view of the lake and the interior spaces are pretty without much decoration. On the day-of, the staff set up all of our decorations so we didn't have to worry about a thing. So many of our guests raved about what a great venue it was! We also appreciated that we didn't have to handle any clean-up at the end of the night. Erin and her team took care of everything, even having all of our personal items boxed up neatly for us to easily pick up the next day. It was an absolute pleasure working with the Lakeside Event Space team for our special day.”

I wouldn’t recommend it for a spring wedding, bc I visited in spring and it wasn’t nearly in bloom enough. It was absolutely perfect for my summer wedding though. Also, it’s SO inexpensive. That being said, I had some serious communication problems with them. I paid extra to reserve the pavilion right next to us so no one would be over there having a loud party during our wedding, and the lady at the desk who helped with our reservation confirmed that we booked it, but then when our wedding day came they said someone else booked it after all. Thankfully, the people renting the pavilion said they would be quiet and they were, but if you are looking into booking this venue, I would suggest you communicate things with them multiple times and get proof of what they said. Again though, it was SO beautiful. I would book again over and over if I could go back, even if there were a loud party next to us lol, bc it was just that beautiful and so so worth it. And the price is unbeatable. I cannot recommend this venue enough, as long as you’re SO clear with communication and hold them to their word.”
