“Let me start by saying that we are not the type to write reviews for anybody - good or bad - but for the sake of future individuals/couples looking to book PK and the Mighty Seven we feel obligated to say that if you are looking for a band to entertain whatever party you are hosting you MUST choose PK and the Mighty Seven. To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. If you are getting married or have a special event in their area you will be doing yourselves an immense disservice not to hire them to make your evening as spectacular as you want it to be.”

“For our outdoor beach wedding on the Cape, we knew we wanted music that would be simple and beautiful, and decided a solo singer with acoustic guitar would best fit the setting and atmosphere we wanted. We went with Lindsay based on her great reviews and could not have been happier with the experience - not only is she an amazing performer with a beautiful voice, she is a consummate professional who is organized, responsive, and attentive to all the details that go into making a wedding a success! We really appreciated her broad song list repertoire, that she had her own A/V equipment and setup options (she ended up bringing battery-powered speakers and two wireless mics for the outdoor beach ceremony where electrical outlets weren't available, which also meant amplifying the officiant / grooms was taken care of), that she took special requests and learned a song my mother-in-law wanted for the ceremony, and that she was also willing to perform some light emceeing / DJ duties during the reception to help move things along. Best of all, she went the extra mile and worked with me beforehand on providing accompaniment so I could serenade my husband as a surprise. The day of the wedding, she arrived early to make sure everything was set up properly, and we never had to worry about whether she knew her cues or where she had to be next, and things went off without a hitch! Several of our guests came up to us afterward to comment on how beautiful the music was during the ceremony and reception, and how calm and peaceful they felt hearing Lindsay's wonderful guitar-playing and singing on the beach. I can 't recommend working with her highly enough and am so grateful she was available to be part of our special day!”

Randall was not only our photographer, but acted as our wedding day planner and manager, directing other vendors and even the venue staff itself. I do NOT envy Randall’s job. He had to deal with all our lofty expectations, direct the other vendors and venue staff, manage the bride and groom family dynamics, deal with a wedding party that was enjoying the preparation process, and found key and natural moments with all the most important people in our lives. “Wowww! I loved working with Janis for my wedding. She was so flexible and easy going. We had a really extensive chat before doing a trial and she accommodated both me and my mom, who does not normally wear makeup, for our trial. THIS WAS CLUTCH! We originally decided on a little bit “more” than I would normally do for a face full of makeup since it was meant to be a special day, but as I got closer to the wedding day, I backtracked a bit and decided to go far more natural. Janis rolled with it all. When the day came, Janis made everything so easy for us all by having a detailed timing plan for the 9 women getting hair and makeup, but when one or two were late, she was able to shift on the fly and keep going - what a professional. The fact that my mom had done a trial with her in advance put both her and my mother-in-law (also not a makeup wearer) at ease with doing something a little special without feeling like they were going to look like different people. Everyone looked and felt beautiful, and I love how Janis explains each little thing she’s doing and why she decides to do it that way, and in the end, I LOVED my natural looking makeup. I felt so incredibly beautiful AND myself… and the look on my husband’s face when he saw me said it all. I also highly recommend JoJo as an incredible option for hair styling for your wedding! Her incredible service started with a trial at her comfortable in-home beauty studio where she has a full styling setup. I have really thin hair and we discussed the possibility that I would need extensions to get the style I wanted, so she both gave me recommendations for where to go to get extensions that would fit my hard-to-match hair color and she agreed to give me a second trial once I got them for free since we couldn’t really complete a style the first time. I was blown away! On the day of…She did my entire wedding party and both moms and everyone looked absolutely fabulous. The week was a blur and I completely forgot that I should time washing my hair to have 1 day old hair, so I ended up with clean hair and still she made it beautiful. I love the way that it flowed and got a little messy in the wind when we were taking pictures on the beach. On top of her skills, she’s both really fun to talk with and super affordable. You won’t regret working with her!”
