The Terminal, located at Lakefront Airport, is a New Orleans Tradition, dating back to the 1930's. At the time of its grand opening it was considered an architectural masterpiece. Built by the same architect that designed the Louisiana State Capitol building, it was the first major airport in the region, and served proudly as a general aviation airport to this day. Inside the terminal building, travelers would find an Art Deco wonderland, featuring murals by artist Xavier Gonzalez, friezes by Enrique R. Alferez and an array of stone wall and floor treatments. Messina’s at the Terminal offers four unique Event Rooms: The Atrium, Walnut Room, Observation Deck, and Huey P Long Room!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.8

  • Florist
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves New Orleans, LA
  • Offer

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

The process of using something borrowed blooms was so easy. I loved that the flowers could be reused and that I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would just be thrown away! They included the return label in the box with the flowers they shipped out, which was great because we did not have a printer at our destination wedding. All of our flowers were fake because I was also worried about the heat wilting our flowers. I only rented bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and a dog collar- but I wish I had rented my centerpieces as well! Amazing experience with SBB all around!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves New Orleans, LA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Flower Moxie was a great floral vendor. Their wide range of diy tutorials was very helpful, and our florist helped us form a vision for our wedding flowers. We were very happy with how our flowers turned out, and proud we could have a hand in diy-ing this aspect of our wedding.

We had an amazing experience working with Josh, Carlos and Still Time Media! We had Carlos as our videographer on our big day and he was incredible to work with. He captured every moment--and we barely realized he was there! We were able to live in the moment and he captured all of our memories as they happened. The videos are absolutely incredible--the day we got them we just watched them over and over--and continue to. The documentary was especially special as we were able to share it with people that weren't able to come to the wedding, so they could see the ceremony and all the special moments. We will be reliving these moments for the rest of our lives thanks to Still Time Media!

Poppy was just what I wanted for our wedding! I very quickly and easily found the flowers I loved and wanted and it was all online or over the phone! Anna, the floral expert assigned to our order, was very responsive and when we had our meeting with her, she was very helpful in making sure we were ordering exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved the blush traditional bouquet for me and my bridesmaids and the blush romantic garden flower clouds. The clouds were PERFECT to top each of the wine barrels that served as our altar. We were complimented a lot on the clouds. Overall, could not have been happier with Poppy. I would highly recommend for your wedding!

If you’re looking for a moody, dreamy, romantic wedding photographer, look no further! Carly is absolutely incredible! My husband (then fiancé) and I were searching for a wedding photographer in the Cleveland area when we stumbled upon Drzazga Photo. Best thing to happen to us!! Early on in my planning I knew my wedding aesthetic was going to be boho rustic and I wanted a photographer who would be able to capture it well. We found that in Carly, and honestly, she can make any wedding style look fantastic in her photos!! If you haven’t checked out her work, DO IT ASAP! Not only are the photos she takes beautiful, but Carly’s eye for angles and poses is astounding. She’s incredibly talented and SUPER sweet. Both my husband and I are uncomfortable in front of the camera, but when working with Carly, she made us feel super comfortable and being photographed by her was actually fun. She’s also available at a really great price. While searching for photographers with similar style and quality, we found most of them were way out of our price range. Now that she has an associate team, you can get the same quality for even a bit cheaper! I didn’t work with the associate team, so I can’t speak to how they interact with their clients, but if you can, don’t skimp on having Carly shoot for you, I promise you won’t regret it! She not only gives you great quality for a great value, but she even includes an engagement photoshoot! (Although complimentary, the photos we got blew us out of the water and also got us really excited to see what she would be able to do at our wedding!) Spoiler alert: she crushed it! We are floored by how good the wedding photos turned out and we haven’t got the whole gallery back yet!! Also, Carly is SO incredibly accommodating! She drove all the way from Cleveland to Columbus just to do our engagement photos because it was more convenient for us!!! Her dedication to her clients is UNRIVALED! I can’t say enough good things about Carly and the team at Drzazga photo!! I’m just so happy we were able to snag her before she booked up!! (She’s a hot commodity, so if you’re even remotely considering her, book her or you might miss out on her magic!) We are keeping her contact info saved because we will certainly be reaching out for any professional photos in the future!! Thank you, Carly, Kasey, and team!!! You guys are the best!
