A former U.S. Army combat photographer and videographer, Paul Slavonik has over 20 years of audio and video production experience. Paul has a B.S. in Audio Production from Full Sail University and is also a graduate of Baker University’s Audio Recording Engineering program. An award-winning filmmaker, Paul has filmed over 160 weddings all over DFW everywhere from chapels on the water to the home of one of the most famous Dallas Cowboys.

We met at a smoothie and film party in college, during which, I (Matt) let out my inner Shakespeare and screamed at Rachel from a balcony. We were married in Texas Hill country amidst close friends. Rachel forgot she needed a bouquet, but a close friend came to the rescue. We made promises to each other and then took time to pray to make promises to God about our marriage. We did without much of the traditional aspects of a wedding: no dancing, no toasts, no exchanged rings, no wedding party…you get the idea…but we did spend 3 hours with their wedding videographers. The day was perfect, because it was perfect for us.

My name is Gage Horne, the owner of Gage Horne Studios. I started my company in 2019 (officially) but have been doing video work starting at the age of 11. It started as gaming videos uploaded to YouTube, to shooting professional dance films in college, to starting my own Video Production Service. I found true passion in my work when I realized how important wedding videos are. I had already shot 100+ films before my wedding but realized as a consumer how valuable it is. I love what I do and finding intriguing/interesting ways to display those pieces is what keeps me creative and constantly making my films better.

I used to produce and plan tens of weddings in downtown West Palm at a 4-5 star venue. During covid-19 I developed my videography skills alongside fitness influencers and branding and brought my new skillset into the wedding industry and have shot my handful of weddings. A little about me: I am a Tampa Bay grown, soflo living videographer, a master's student in mental health, hold a BA in media from PBAU, and surf in my free time. My journey with weddings started at my own wedding. My wife and I were dead broke and in college (living that ramen life!) when we got married and wound up hiring a sub-par photographer. When we got the images back, they were all ruined! I got so angry that I went out and bought a camera out of spite, thinking, "I can do this better myself!".
