I've captured well over 100 weddings and have been actively improving my process to deliver the highest quality we can offer in a wedding movie. When I got married in 2019, my wife and I created Oak and Honey Films as a new brand to begin our journey together as a husband and wife team.

We are a couple duo. Our favorite thing to do together is travel everywhere and capture all of the beautiful scenery and special moments. Both of us have been using a camera since we were little and have been obsessed ever since. We would love to capture your special day and tell your love story through video or photo.

Without going into too much detail about how we got started filming weddings, we’d like to share why we continue to capture weddings. The short answer: They’re fun! Feeding off the energy that takes place during a wedding is such a rush. We thrive off it, and the realization that we’re doing something vital for you and your family. I mean, we’re a part of creating something your grandchildren are going to view in the future, and that’s so neat.

As wedding videographers, we take part in what is likely the happiest day in a couples life and then produce videos that celebrate and preserve that day for years to come. We capture the details, nuances, and feelings of the wedding that can all too easily be forgotten. Some call us videographers, others cinematographers, but my favorite is storytellers. I am an intimate wedding and elopement filmmaker and photographer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’m married to my life-long adventure partner, Josue (Sway for short), and we have a 2-year-old golden doodle, Murphy, who is our whole world. When I’m not creating art, I can be found tending to my enormous plant collection, catching up on the latest episode of This is Us, serving on my church worship team, or hanging at the dog park.
