Better 1/2 started in 2011 in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2019, I relocated to Chicago. I've filmed about 30 weddings for couples with a range of venues and guest counts. What's consistent is my style, which is personal and beautiful. I tell each couple's wedding story in a tailor-cut video, highlighting the big moments and spotlighting the small ones.

Hi, we are Paola and Ivan – a creative husband and wife team, based in Chicago. We share a mutual love for traveling the world and enjoying good food, music, and art. Paola is the founder and main drive behind Vivid Photo and Video. Paola started shooting weddings over 10 years ago, first as a photographer, then moving into video shortly after. Ivan is a talented artist, graphic designer, and musician. He is the glue that holds our team together during the wedding day, whether it is acting as a second videographer, flying the drone, or running microphones for everyone.

So… After 2019, I decided that 2020 was going to be the year. It was going to be the breakout year for weddings and events. Filming every other weekend, capturing all the precious moments that every videographer cries over in their editing room about. I prepared my box of tissues at hand, (100 boxes in fact). All the beautiful moments in 2020, I couldn’t wait! Well that never happened! But here we are in 2022! Hi, my name is Sean, and I love creating films. Being able to capture a day, an event, or a special moment for people to relive it, is why I do what I love, and I love what I do. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a degree in film, I hit the ground running and began LEAP Weddings, which allowed me to do something I truly love - create films, every weekend. LEAP has taught me how to improve my skills as a filmmaker, editor, producer, leader and entrepreneur and, as a result, I have been able to build three more companies - The BMP Film Co., Epoch Studio Salon, and Our Days.
