My primary work consists of weddings, engagements, portraits, and pets. You'll quickly realize that I am a huge animal lover and a big chunk of my life revolves around taking care of my little home-zoo. I have an intense passion to capture classic romance with each wedding and the emotional connection with each portrait session. Hello, I am Alexius. I was born and raised right here in the good ole North Carolina. I live in Raleigh now, but I was raised in a small town of "Midway" (right outside of Winston-Salem). I found my passion for photography about five years ago and still amazed at the places that my little camera has taken me. Steve and I met in March, 1999 on Match.com. We were married on September 2, 2000 at the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. We became a photography team in 2007. I had already been photographing weddings on my own, but someone was missing. I am not complete without Steve. My photography is the same. I love working with my husband. We can be on opposite sides of a ceremony, look at each other and just know what the other will do. Many of our couples love our height difference. I'm 5'1". Steve is 6'4". You will literally get two very different perspectives for the exact same moment.
