“Before we reached out to Jimmy when we were looking for vendors, we were a little hesitant about getting a videographer because people we knew who did get videos of their big day, had very neutral feelings about the final products. However, after coming across Jimmy's portfolio, we found ourselves crying and laughing at videos of couples we'd never met before. That's when we were convinced that we wanted a videographer, and we wanted Jimmy for the job. Working with Jimmy was a fantastic experience! He joined us for a three-day wedding weekend in Hawaii, and an additional day in SF to film us with our dogs. All of our friends and family were so impressed at how he seemed to be everywhere, all at once, yet never felt he was in the way and if they weren't paying attention, wouldn't notice him and his second shooter! We already had high expectations based on Jimmy's previous work, but when he shared the final film with us, we were still blown away and probably watched it a hundred times already. In a couple of minutes we were able to relive one of the best days of our lives, and feel all the range of emotions like we did on the wedding day. The way Jimmy managed to put together the full story made our quiet, simple relationship feel like an epic movie! “I do not know where to begin! In the midst of wedding planning, I came across Alex and his team's work, and I was immediately hooked. Thankfully he was available for our wedding date and came all the way up to Big Bear with no hesitation! From the get-go, Alex was a pleasure to collaborate with. Sadly, he was not able to have someone help him on the day of my wedding which resulted him in trying to do everything I asked on his own. It was really difficult for him to film, live stream, and include drone footage but he did his best and I appreciated him for all of the effort he put in. I’m married to my life-long adventure partner, Josue (Sway for short), and we have a 2-year-old golden doodle, Murphy, who is our whole world. When I’m not creating art, I can be found tending to my enormous plant collection, catching up on the latest episode of This is Us, serving on my church worship team, or hanging at the dog park.
