The Barrow House features two separate outdoor tents and seven unique rooms capable of playing host to a variety of private events. We hope to make your event a day your guests will talk about for years to come. The Barrow House is one of four restaurants owned by Skopos Hospitality. Each of our spaces have their own concept meant to transport you to a different time and atmosphere. Though each restaurant is unique, you can expect the same quality of food and beverage, as well as warm hospitality.

We are privately located in the beautiful, secluded Garret Mountains, overlooking Northern New Jersey. Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.

Celebrate with both indoor and outdoor spaces with a picturesque view of the South Mountain Reservoir. Each space adorned with a floor to ceiling fireplace. Outdoor ceremony space along the reservoir.

Rails Steakhouse offers a unique and rustic setting for weddings, combining gourmet cuisine with a warm, inviting atmosphere. With customizable menus and flexible event spaces, Rails Steakhouse ensures a personalized experience. Rails is best suited for an intimate smaller wedding of up to 44 guests, and up to 100 for a cocktail party reception.
