The Vale Public House tells the story of a Scottish expat who came to New York and spent his time as bartender entertaining and serving customers on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for the last 20 years meeting his partner, whose entire family hails from Kearny New Jersey. reating an atmosphere welcoming to anyone, The Vale is the safe space in the neighborhood where the customer's comfort can be achieved at any level. Sayen House & Gardens, located in historic Hamilton Square, NJ, was established in 1912 by Frederick Sayen, a passionate world traveler and gardener. He built a charming bungalow and surrounded it with exotic plants from China, Japan, and England—many of which still thrive today. The gardens boast over 1,000 azaleas, nearly 500 rhododendrons, and more than 250,000 spring bulbs that create a stunning seasonal display. Picturesque walking trails, gazebos, fish ponds, and vibrant floral arrangements offer a peaceful escape year-round. We are an interfaith chapel residing on the Long Island University Post Campus. Our Chapel can fit up to 200 guests, with lighting and speakers for all to hear and see your beautiful ceremony. Additionally, we have a lower level room that can be used for getting ready, or a small after-ceremony reception. After the ceremony is done, walk the 330 acre campus to take photos at our labyrinth, Marjorie Merriweather's Estate, and our beautiful gardens.

Situated on the estate of renowned horticulturist and philanthropist Frank Bailey, Bailey Arboretum offers nature-inspired outdoor space for wedding ceremonies and receptions on Long Island's North Shore. The former estate house of Frank Bailey called “Munnysunk”, was originally built sometime in the 1800’s. After Frank purchased the property, he hired Craig Severance to renovate it, keeping the country charm of this neocolonial home.
