Starting piano lessons at the age of four, Steve quickly developed a knack for music. During high school, he trained privately under the renowned NC School of the Arts music professor, Dr. Clifton Matthews. He can play with printed music, but prefers to play by ear, utilizing his unique ability to play any song he’s heard, and easily taking requests, often on the spot. Steve has performed with a variety of bands and duos along the East Coast, but likes to focus primarily on solo performances for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, dinner parties, and other elegant events.

Bryan Mahanes is Bryan the DJ. Performing and entertaining for over 1,000 weddings all over the Southeast, Bryan is the MOST EXPERIENCED DJ performing for high end, boutique weddings in the area. The Lowhills are an up and coming Americana/Roots family band out of Johns Island, SC, with a sound that is a smooth mix of genres including Americana, classic country, bluegrass, swing, and R&B. They also cover a wide range of Artists and styles as well including: Elvis, Hank Williams, Al Green, Roberta Flack, Frank Sinatra, Carole King, Bonnie Raitt, Van Morrison, Fleetwood Mac Ect. The band members include husband and wife duo Matt and Lauren Bevins Cahill and lifelong friend and musical partner Joe Marlow. They can be an organic acoustic trio (guitar, mandolin, and upright bass) or plug in with a drummer for a more electric funky sound.

Zoe has been studying the violin for over 20 years. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance from the College of Charleston where she studied under Charleston Symphony Concertmaster, Yuriy Bekker. She then continued her education in Arizona, receiving a Masters of Music Degree in Violin from Northern Arizona University. Zoe was recipient of the Gates-Taylor Award by the NAU School of Music and received the Mary Stewart Allen Award for Violin and Most Outstanding Music Award by the CofC School of the Arts.
