“Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. “Lucas was recommended to us as "the DJ you want to hire if you want someone you can trust to keep your dance floor full and to read the crowd to keep your party going," which immediately appealed to us. We live in Brooklyn, and got married in the Catskills, and found out that Lucas also DJs regularly at some of our favorite spots in Brooklyn. From our first contact with Lucas, he was responsive, kind, interested in getting to know us and our taste, and super professional. We connected on a personal level as well as on a musical one. Now, having had Lucas DJ our wedding and supply all of the audio equipment, we can't recommend him highly enough. The audio for our ceremony and speeches worked without a hitch (he also helped to professionally feed our ceremony audio/music into our livestream setup), Lucas knew exactly the right moments to take cues for music, and when the dance party began, he played great music that totally matched our vibe and tastes, and as promised, he kept the dance floor full all night (no small feat, especially because we downsized our wedding to 60 guests). “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! He came up with the idea of doing voiceovers to make the father and daughter dance and the husband and wife a little more special. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. He got everyone on the dance floor, the song selections were great. He listens to what couples want, he really spends time to get to know his clients before the event. “You won’t regret hiring Tony and Platinum Entertainment, but you will regret not hiring them. Your DJ/MC is one of the most if not the most important vendor that you will book for your wedding. I didn’t believe it until I saw it, but it’s true. Tony was recommended to us by our wedding photographer, Hannah of Hannah Lux Photography. We set up a video call ASAP and after the first few moments, knew he was the right person for our wedding. It was evident very quickly that Tony is beyond passionate about what he does. Our wedding was less than 60 people including my husband and I.
