My art tells a story. The art of henna has been a passion for me since I was very young. I started practice at the age of eleven. For me, it was quite natural growing up in Indian household, I had the best of practical experience. From weddings to casual applications, I learned the use of henna first-hand many times. Hey there, I’m Virge Simone and I want to capture your love story. One of my favorite photos is one of my late grandfather holding my now 19 year old daughter when she was just a few days old. The photo was taken by me and I would guess with a basic point and shoot camera so the quality is not the best, kinda blurry, the colors are washed out but I LOVE that photo. That photo signifies to be to always be present and in the moment, because that’s the last photo I was able to take of my grandfather. As a photographer, that photo tells a story, its dated, its memorable and its timeless.
