I am Henry, owner of Clark Videography. Making videos has been a lifelong adventure for me. My guardian let me borrow his camera to make short films when I was a kid since then it has grown on me to the point where I got a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting, specializing in TV Broadcasting. A few years after graduating I decided that I can just start my own videography services back in 2012.

I love getting to know unique couples that have fallen head-over-heels for each other; I like re-telling that story through video, using interview clips from the couple themselves, as well as toasts, vows, and letters (if they have written some to exchange).

I was born and raised in Ukraine where I studied at a law school. When I moved to the USA in 2016, I dramatically switched my career path from a lawyer to a digital artist. I got a degree in Media Arts and Filmmaking and started shooting dance, fashion, music, and became a wedding videographer located in Chicago.

Standing in the checkout line at Lowes, I saw a sign that read, "Happiness is doing what you love." Tears started to well in my eyes as I checked out, dreading returning to work that following Monday. I'll never forget how grateful and nervous I was filming my first wedding, but I was happy, knowing I was doing what I was meant to do and what I loved to do. Now, having filmed over a hundred weddings in Lexington, Ky, and statewide, I have gained a wealth of knowledge on filming and telling your one-of-a-kind love story.

In 2018, my talented wife Chelsea started on an exciting journey and founded our business specializing in lifestyle family photography. During those early days, I helped in various capacities managing the technical aspects and handling the accounting side of the business. As time went on, Chelsea's success in photography inspired us to broaden our horizons. We’re Maurice & Carrie, a husband & wife team who met while working at a movie theater in the suburbs of Chicago when we were just 19. We stayed best friends across states as we followed different paths, ultimately finding ourselves living in Cincinnati, Ohio, reunited (and eventually married in November 2020). Firefly Productions grew out of a passion to do something that was positive & meaningful, and we named it after the fireflies we loved chasing & capturing as children on those hot, summer Illinois nights. We love road trips and obsessed with all things history. We'd rather take the back roads and discover new small old towns!
