Founded in 2010 by bassist, Daniel Gallagher and Guitarist Josh Earls; Chasing Autumn started out under the name “Sullivan”. Sullivan played acoustic duet style songs and quickly moved on to more elaborate songs, adding vocals and more instruments. In 2013, preceding the release of their 3rd album “Northern Lights” the band saw the addition of singer, Logan Harpine. With this lineup, the band released two more albums, a Folk influenced EP titled “It’s Alright”, and an extensive 19 song full album titled “New Beginnings”.

Rock X is a live karaoke & cover band that performs all over the Northern VA, D.C., and Maryland areas. Cristian has performed with many of the best musicians in the Washington DC area (i.e.: Victor Provost, Joe McCarthy, John Kocur, Emmanuel Trifilio, etc.) and played at some of the top venues in the Metropolitan area, such as Blues Alley, Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, Bohemian Caverns, Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club, and Twins Jazz. Cristian has performed in Canada and Dominican Republic, and in 2011, he performed as part of the GMU Jazz Ensemble in Shanghai and Beijing. Recently, Cristian has toured Bolivia and Korea.

Amaris Trio is a wedding classical music ensemble operating out of Reston, Virginia. Consisting of Shearom on violin, Ryan on cello, and Stephanie on piano, this award-winning trio brings over a decade of performance experience to every occasion. Professional and faith-driven, they are available to provide beautiful music for celebrations across Northern Virginia, DC, and the surrounding areas.

Formed in 1996 by harmonica player & songwriter Scott Spearly, guitarist Tim Mitchell and claw-hammer banjo champion Paul Mackrell, the combo initially performed as a steadfast trio throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia for nearly ten years. As their name and reputation as a hard-driving old-time hillbilly-jazz band has grown, The Knuckledusters now perform mostly as a group of five, taking to the interstates and stretching performances from Washington D.C. to New York.

Sweet Yonder is a fired-up, all-women, bluegrass band — think Steel Drivers meets the Carter Family. They deliver a soulful punch in every performance with straight up instrumental attitude and truly inspiring vocal harmonies. International veterans of stage, screen and television, Bob Perilla’s Big Hillbilly Bluegrass performance highlights include a screen appearance in Chris Rock’s “Head of State,” a live television gig with Earl Scruggs, multiple Kennedy Center concerts and a residence at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. At the request of the U.S. Department of State, Big Hillbilly Bluegrass has toured Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the Dominican Republic over the past several years, thus crowning Big Hillbilly Bluegrass as America’s defacto Bluegrass Ambassadors.

The Satin Doll Trio is an elegant ensemble that performs in the intimate "supper club" jazz style made popular by artists such as Julie London, Sarah Vaughan, and Peggy Lee during the early 1950's. They have appeared on the stages of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Corcoran Gallery’s Armand Hammer Auditorium, and have made television appearances on the BET Jazz channel programs "Jazz Central" and "Impressions". The group makes regular appearances at prestigious venues throughout the Washington D.C. area and Eastern United States.

Élan Noelle is an exceptional singer with a crowd pleasing repertoire consisting of Jazz standards, RnB, Soul and Pop hits from today and yesteryear. Her vocals are accompanied by guitar or piano and together this acoustic duo presents an enticing musical performance. Élan has been performing in the DMV region and throughout the East Coast for over a decade with some of the most talented musicians renowned in the area.

Cristian began taking piano lessons at the age of 5, but did not find his true passion until he picked up the guitar in his mid-teens after being inspired by rock groups from Argentina. Self-taught on guitar, he gravitated towards classical guitar after moving to the U.S. in 2002. Encouraged to pursue music by his high school teacher Ken Hall, Cristian met Paraguayan guitarist extraordinaire Berta Rojas, under whom he studied privately for two years.

I’m a Washington, DC area based musician, DJ and instructor. I play local and regional shows all around the DC Metro area and beyond. My shows range from DJ, solo acoustic performances with loop pedals and multiple instruments, to my duo, the Two Man Trio with drummer Adam Stauffer, and various full bands.

Monikais a professional harpist in Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia where she is in demand as a performer and teacher. Current teaching appointments include the Levine School of Music, and the Concord Hill School. She maintains a private harp studio in her home and directs the Maryland Classic Youth Harp Ensemble at Strathmore Hall. Monika is a regular coach for the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras and Young Artists of America, also at Strathmore. She serves on the board of directors at Young Artists of America.

Kristen is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in Harp Performance with a Voice Minor. She has toured nationally with the New Christy Minstrels, and played with such names as Ray Charles, Tony Bennet, Victor Borge and Shirley Jones.

Jeff Hayes has been playing the piano in the metropolitan Washington DC area since the 1980s. He has played solo piano at the area’s finest hotels and clubs. Jeff has played for conventions, fundraisers, and every type of celebration imaginable. Jeff’s repertoire runs the gamut from classical and movie themes to current popular hits. “From Fauré to Fallout Boy” as he likes to say. In addition to his solo work, Jeff is a fine accompanist and works with classical and pop singers and musical theatre groups. He currently accompanies the Sapphires, Bethesda Little Theatre, and Mini-Musicals on the Move.

Louis Jones is professional, experienced, and a versatile musician whose repertoire embraces different genres including jazz standards, pop ballads, funk/soul, latin, and modern tunes adapted to his unique style. He is available for corporate and private functions, birthday parties, weddings, special occasions, and receptions.

SoundNation has an on-stage musical chemistry fronted by three incredibly talented lead singers whose vocal performances move people even during their dinner sets. It is not uncommon for this party band to get the entire crowd singing along on the choruses of the biggest hits.

DC Fusion is a band whose passion for music is matched only by their joy in entertaining. Members of DC Fusion have performed with such diverse artists as Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Angie Stone, Isaac Hayes, Buddy Guy, Pieces of a Dream and many more. They regularly appear at the area’s top venues, including Blues Alley, Wolf Trap and the Kennedy Center.

Russ is a violinist and guitarist who lives in Montgomery Village, Maryland. He’s been there for ten years, and enjoys the vibrant cultural scene that comes with living in the DC metropolitan area. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, he performs a diverse of musical styles including classical, jazz, pop, folk , and bluegrass. He has performed as a freelance violinist with several different ensembles in the area including the Umoja Quartet and the Soulful Symphony which featured performances with Wynton Marsalis, Donnie Mcclurkin, Donald Lawrence, Ledisi, Ruben Studdard, and Vanessa Bell Armstrong among others.

Downtown Pop Quartet was founded with the goal of creating a professional group that performs in diverse venues with a broad repertoire spanning classical to pop and jazz. It includes professional musicians who play with leading orchestras and ensembles throughout the Washington DC area. Erik has been freelancing as a chamber musician in the MD/DC/VA area for the last 10 years, performing 90-100 events a year. Kat has performed with numerous ensembles as a freelance musician throughout the DC area, and has been a member of the Maryland Symphony Orchestra since 2003.

Fred is a fixture on the Washington music scene for 25 years, is an experienced, successful and diverse cellist, who is dependable and easy to work with. He has mastered classical, jazz, rock, blues, Celtic and pop styles, and has delighted audiences all over the country. Locally, he has played the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, Birchmere, Ram’s Head, Blues Alley, Twins Lounge, and The State Theater, just to mention a few. He is a true cross over artist as a cellist. He has played numerous wedding parties, recitals and other gigs, both as a soloist, and with every possible music combination, from string quartets to jazz combos to rock bands.

Tim Thulson is a veteran of the DC freelance scene, in high demand as a cellist both at home and abroad. Tours have included Japan, England, Germany, and the Middle East. As an orchestral musician, Tim’s engagements include principal cello for DC’s unconducted Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra, as well as frequent appearances with the contemporary-focused Great Noise Ensemble. As a soloist, Tim premiered Iordanishvili’s “Character” for the Atlas Emerging Composer’s forum. But Tim’s key musical passion is for chamber music, and he has been privileged to perform and record with a variety of Washington’s best small ensembles.

Christine is an active performer. As a soloist, she has performed in concerts at the Kennedy Center, Strathmore Hall, Dumbarton House, the Gallery at The Ellipse, and various Embassies in Washington, among other venues. Christine is an experienced educator. An alumna of the Inspired Teaching Institute, she teaches at Sidwell Friends School, and at Fillmore Arts Center in Washington, DC and is Washington Performing Arts teaching artist for the Capitol Strings program.

JB & THE SHOWMANCE BAND is a Jazz & Vintage Band covering all the classic music of a bygone era and bringing Old Hollywood back to life. The band exists to preserve the tradition of music from ages past. JB & THE SHOWMANCE BAND delights crowds big and small with timeless tunes and entertaining vocals sung and played by fresh-faced world class musicians The band exists in Los Angeles, NYC, and D.C. and is available to clients all over the world.

Guitarist Tyler first fell in love with the guitar at age twelve. Though he spent time teaching himself, Tyler has been fortunate to study with many of the best teachers available. His first teacher, Roger Farwell, taught him the importance of technique and posture, along with other concepts like sight-reading and music theory. After developing a solid foundation with Roger, Tyler began studying with Damon Foreman in order to pursue Jazz. While studying Jazz, Tyler has also been able to work with Jeff Antoniak; Steve Rochinski, head of Berklee’s harmony department; Kenny Rittenhouse; Mike Pope, and many others.

Sharif – who is currently earning his Masters at the Berklee College of Music – has made quite a name for himself on the touring front as well, vacillating from playing intimate solo acoustic shows of his original material to belting out cover tunes (from Rihanna’s “Disturbia” to Maroon 5’s “Won’t Go Home Without You” to Beastie Boys “Girls”) at biker bars to playing one of his favorite genres of music, oldies, at retirement centers (because he wants to, not because he has to) to corporate gigs for Gap and Amstel Light to opening for the likes of Jason Mraz, Kenny Loggins, Rhett Miller, Rusted Root, and Blake Shelton.

Illinois-born Ken is a study in contradictions: a guitarist who plays saxophone, a singer who writes instrumentals, a purveyor of restless sentimentality who continues to search for truths best found within. As a singer-songwriter now based in Washington DC, Ken has been gaining attention locally and regionally with his midwestern-accented musings, telling stories spun from a life spent moving from town to town. Fittingly, he plays 200+ shows a year – all over the DelMarVa region, the eastern seaboard, the midwest, and south.

THE HALL PROJECT has been years in the making. John Dixon Hall, Jr. has been playing in the Baltimore/DC music scene since he was 15 years old. His grandmother and his musical idol Stevie Wonder, were the catalyst for him to pick up the piano. His father, who was also an amazing drummer, exposed him to everything from Billy Joel to Ray Charles. Most recently, he has found a new love in New Orleans style piano. With the help of his good friends and GREAT musicians, Barry Sherard, Marcin “Samba” Otrebski and John Nichols, his vision has come to life in THE HALL PROJECT!
