Surrounded by beautiful secluded woodlands, The Cabin at Old Spur is an affordable outdoor wedding and event venue situated in a beautiful secluded country setting. We have gorgeous picturesque views of the forest and large pond. The Cabin at Old Spur provides a respite from the hustle of towns and cities, and is an ideal location for a quiet rustic outdoor wedding. We offer full service options or you may simply rent the space. Enjoy your entire celebration centered around our beautiful pond hidden in the woods! The 4 bedroom cabin sleeps 10 allowing the wedding party to relax and relish their weekend!

The front or back lawn of the lodge provide an intimate and regal setting for your event. The Moongate, which symbolizes everlasting love, nestled between The Lodge and The Grange, accomodating 200. Foxtail Lake has a beautiful view of the sunset and also accomodates 200.

The 1820s farmhouse at Rubicon Farm is a charming centerpiece for the open grassy countryside acreage that surrounds the house. Called the Black-Cole House, it was updated in 2005 as a getaway for an active family that loves the outdoors. Now empty-nesters, the couple who owns Rubicon rents this special property out as a venue for an array of special events. Our Niche Turn-key packages at Rubicon Farm are our wedding niche. Our team customizes our couple’s vision of their wedding day, and we do all the set-up and coordination and take down. We plan and execute everything but the reception food and your choice of music, and if you need help choosing those, we are happy to make vendor suggestions.

In the year of 1762, Mr. Newberry and Mr. Thames purchased the land from Mr. Gray. In the deed, there was mention of a sawmill and grist mill on the place, but no mention of a house. In 1833 Mr. Byrne purchased the land from Mr. Newberry. At this time the house and store were on the land. Later on Mr. Byrne sold the land, and it change hands several times..." The house served as a mill home, store, and the Gray's Creek post office for many years.
