She pursued her formal education at the University of Michigan and DePaul University, where she earned her bachelors and masters degrees in violin performance. She has studied with many of the world's top teachers and performers, and is currently teaching 100 students of her own. Anna looks forward to working with you to create the perfect event!

New Vintage Strings is a distinctive ensemble of classically trained string players and music educators. NVS was officially founded in 2018, but our musicians have been playing together for much longer, as principal players of the Fox Valley Orchestra. All of our musicians are very close friends; and that bond energizes and elevates our performance. Husband & wife team, Jeremy & Emily, have been making music together since meeting at the NIU School of Music in the early 2000s. Their love for their craft continues to grow with every performance opportunity together.

I am an experienced wedding guitarist w/ a repertoire that spans 500+ years of music, including contemporary! For the latter, I create solo guitar arrangements of songs upon request, which maintains it's familiarity while adding a charming elegance. These arrangements are a huge hit with wedding couples! For owner Mike Yazumbek, DJing is fun and games, but it’s also a lifestyle he has lived and breathed for the past 13 years. Mike got his interest in DJing at age 20 and started out playing friends house parties, then eventually building up a reputation and DJing a the biggest nightclubs in the Chicagoland Area. Pretty Soon, a lot of his friends were getting married and Mike was the first person they thought of. Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.
