The Dr. Morgan Smith estate was built in 1918, and is a National Landmark of Historic Places. Two age-old Magnolia trees sit atop the hill that Dr. Smith planted. The estate has grown to be called Magnolia Hill. At the turn of the century, it was a day’s buggy ride to downtown Little Rock.
