Beth and her team at Hudson Valley Flowers did an amazing job with our wedding flowers! I wanted a unique color palette featuring teal, purple, emerald, with hints of pink and white. Despite these being unconventional wedding colors, Beth and her team created a stunning and cohesive floral design. The arrangements were beautifully crafted, adding a vibrant and elegant touch to our special day. Their creativity and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Hudson Valley Flowers for any event!

We were so lucky to have someone recommend Lilysh to us for our wedding florals in the Catskills. Although I had a vision for what I wanted the flowers to look like, I am certainly not a flower connoisseur, so wanted to find a professional who I could trust to understand and execute my vision and Liliya was the perfect person to do just that. Her timing and communications were perfect, Including plenty of mockups and vision boards during our preliminary meetings, and continued conversations leading up to the big day. Plus - I love that she works with in season/local blooms, in addition to other sustainability efforts. Photo Credit: The Lovewigs

Flora Good Times

5.0

Beacon, NY
  • Starts at $7,500

**The best way to reach us is directly through our website! We do not use Zola's booking system** Flora Good Times is a studio with play and celebration at its core. Flowers are a powerful medium for setting a mood and telling a story. We are driven to elevate your event with flowers and feeling. Our focus is to provide your celebration with the joy and bounty that only flowers can bring.

Corinne (owner and founder of Flora Good Times) took on the flowers for our wedding just as her business was getting off the ground, but you would never know it. Her professionalism, sophistication, and creativity is unmatched. The vision board she created after our first phone call captured the spirit of our style better than my partner and I had articulated, and influenced other design decisions made. When we visited the venue together, she took my abstract thoughts (e.g. I'm thinking purple tablecloths) and brought them to life (e.g. the purple tablecloths work paired with turquoise ones and the right flowers... it sounds crazy, but it was GORGEOUS). The arrangements she created brought the whole event to the next level. We've never seen anything like them at a wedding or any event, and people are still talking about them two years later. Because of our experience with Flora Good Times, our advice to couples getting married is not to cut corners on the flower budget. We can't recommend this amazing team highly enough.

TK Floral Designs LLC

5.0

Modena, NY
  • Starts at $10,000

I am Tyler Keeno, the Head Designer of TK Floral Designs LLC. I run this wonderful company with my partner Randy Nogueira, and have been involved in this industry for 6 years now. I cannot picture life doing anything but designing beautiful wedding flowers! My love story with flowers is very simple - sometimes it just happens that way in our lives. There is nothing more meaningful, fulfilling, or rewarding in this life than bringing beautiful floral art to a wedding to transform that special day. I can’t wait to begin this journey with you.

I don't even know where to begin!! From start to finish, working with TK Floral for our wedding day was an absolute pleasure. At the beginning of wedding planning, I had a vision; romantic, enchanted, fairytale, but I couldn't put my vision together. After speaking to Tyler for the first time, he completely understood my thoughts and listened to every detail. He made me feel so comfortable and I trusted his vision. I was thrilled to see his initial proposal and all of the different ideas he had come up with after a 15 minute consultation call. Throughout the wedding planning process, whenever I called with a different idea, Tyler was all ears and ready to build something new. The day of our wedding was absolutely flawless, our guests still rave over how stunning our flowers were. The night truly looked like we were dancing through an enchanted fairytale. Working with Tyler and Randy was a dream, 5 stars isn't a high enough rating to match how incredible they are!

I did a lot of searching and looking into different diy flower companies. As soon as I came across bloom culture and read some of the reviews I knew I wanted to go with them! Alison was so friendly and personable and so easy to work with. She helped put me at ease by answering all of my questions and even helped me to swap out a couple of the flowers in one of the packages to better match my vision for my wedding. I was a little nervous about the flowers lasting all the way until the wedding day (my wedding was on a Sunday and they arrived Wednesday) but by the day of they had opened up beautifully and looked amazing. There were also hardly any flowers damaged or broken when they arrived. With all of the detailed instructions and recipes they provided, putting together the flowers was honestly a breeze once we got started. We didn’t follow the instructions specifically because I had a different number of bouquets, center pieces, etc. that I need to make, but the recipes and instructions were still super helpful. I also watched Alison’s YouTube videos beforehand which helped a ton! Overall very happy with the quality of the flowers, the price, and the excellent customer service. Cannot recommend enough!

Fairy Meadow Flowers

5.0

Hamden, CT
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Masonville, NY

My name is Isabelle, and I grow chemical free, regenerative flowers and herbs on 3/4 of an acre in Hamden, CT. I truly love working on these blooms from start to finish, and I hope to get to share some of the beauty with you on your special day.

Awarded Best of Zola
There are many florists out there, but how many of them offer flowers they've grown themselves, right from the earth? If you want something super traditional, like a sphere of roses, Isabelle may not be for you. But if you like wildflowers, want to work with a super cool person, and collaborate not only with your vendor, but with the earth itself - this is who you want to work with! Everything Isabelle does has meaning and purpose. On my wedding day, they even foraged some goldenrod that was growing right outside our venue, adding it to the bunches of dramatic, colorful dahlias and unique blooms I don't even know the names of. It was meaningful, gorgeous, and creative. All of the arrangements they made came out came out stunning. Each one was a little different, but everything went together perfectly. I could not pick a favorite. Isabelle was also willing to take on so many little details I hadn't thought of. They provided a really lovely floral cake topper, and put little flowers in each of our guest's napkins. They also have opinions, and will share them when asked- something I like in vendors, who I feel often have the best instincts for what works well. In addition, their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially when you consider how special their work is. In a world of refrigerated carnations...be a wild goldenrod, plucked at golden hour, by a true artist :) Cannot recommend Fairy Meadow Flowers enough!

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs Flower Preservation

5.0

Harrisburg, PA
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Masonville, NY

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our growth as friends, mothers and confidants, than to combine our creativity and passions to create one of a kind items to brighten the days and lives of others. Our business, our products, and our partnership is all about balance, Contessa is the Sarcasm, Danielle is the Sunshine. Some days, we switch roles, but we think life is better with both!

Having my wedding flowers preserved was extremely important to me. To be able to keep something perfectly preserved that was so beautiful on my special day is unreal. Danielle is the kindest and easiest person to work with. She gets back to you within seconds and listens to any and every crazy request I had. Along with a tray, wine stopper, ornament, and book mark, Danielle was able to take part of my Mother’s wedding dress (that was wrapped around my bouquet) and preserve it in a jewelry box with my flowers. Let me tell you, the reaction my mom had on her face when I gave her that jewelry box was indescribable. If you are ever second guessing preserving your wedding flowers, this is your sign to do it. You won’t regret it! Sarcasm and Sunshine’s work is impeccable and I hope that others are able to have their flowers preserved with such care and precision as I was able to have mine.

Bridget Vizoso Design

5.0

New York, NY
  • Serves Masonville, NY

BVD is a specialty boutique florist where floral artists are hand picked to produce arrangements composed of unusually rich textural combinations of cultivated, foraged and locally grown materials. Her client's wishes are translated into unforgettable floral experiences. Bridget and her team begin the process of buying and conditioning up to 5 days before the event to ensure that every variety is brought to its' fullest expression of development. The craft of floristry is elevated to the artisanal level at the BVD studio and each piece reflects a sensitivity to shape, color and movement where no two are ever exactly alike.

Bridget is a genius designer - a floral designer's floral designer. For our wedding, she transformed the rooms of an old mansion into gorgeous, lush worlds exceeding our imaginations. The end result was like a spectacular film set. Bridget met with us and visited the venue multiple times to help us conceptualize and implement the ideas. Working with her was a pleasure. She's clever, fun and incredibly industrious; she will go long and far to source the best flowers from the best providers. She even helped us procure beautiful 15' tall birch trees to use in our ceremony and then helped us repurpose them after the event by arranging transport to a family home 100 miles out of NYC. We could not have found a better partner for such an important celebration.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Cassandra for our wedding weekend and she was amazing from start to finish (recommended to us by our planner Rachel Behar!). Cassandra understood our vision from the very beginning and executed it to perfection. She did our Friday night welcome dinner, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Everything was gorgeous and I can’t imagine having done it with anyone else! We even changed our ceremony altar design a couple of months before the wedding and Cassandra was nothing but accommodating to how we wanted everything to be. You can also tell that she and her team put so much care into setup - for every part of our wedding that she did, every single flower was perfectly placed. Her passion for her work really shows and I would not hesitate to work with her again!

We hired Dru/FloraModa for our NYC wedding, and she was a true delight to work with!! She took our high level vision and elevated it way beyond what we had hoped for, executed flawlessly (in the midst of a crazy weather weekend), and stayed within our budget / at a reasonable cost. She chose unique and beautiful flowers and suggested the loveliest sunset color palette. She created a gorgeous floral ground arch for our ceremony, the loose bridal bouquet of my dreams, a beautiful bud vase tablescape, a crown for our flower girl, and boutonnieres for the groom and ring bearer. She was positive and upbeat throughout the whole process and we enjoyed every design meeting and conversation. We really couldn’t recommend her more! One of our favorite vendors from the whole weekend.

Violet's Florist is an absolute hidden gem (especially for city weddings!!) and I cannot say enough good things about them, SO please excuse the long (glowing) review, but it's well deserved :-) .... I stumbled upon Violet, Hanna and team when I was in a VERY tight pinch (needed wedding florals in a matter of 4 days, right after Christmas) with a VERY tall ask on that order (300, delivered to the Upper East Side). My fiance and I made a last minute decision to elope at a small ceremony, ahead of our big one that was to be later that year, so my recently ill 95 year old grandma could attend. I nearly gave up on flowers for this small ceremony, after being shut down by 20 other florists in the area, then struck gold with Violet, who graciously told me not to worry about a thing and that it would be no problem.  I figured it was a 50/50 shot that I even saw the flowers (they were coming in from NJ for me), let alone that they'd be nice ones, given the time and budget constraints ... never did I ever expect to actually have beautiful arrangements, including a sweet corsage for our guest of honor and her nurse AND matching boutonnieres thrown in for my young nephew, who I mentioned my grandma adores. They truly made for the most memorable day and my mom, sisters and I will forever be grateful for the special treatment they showed our grandma. After that, it was a no brainer for who we would work with on our actual big day after that - our venues were pretty decorated already (Church of St Thomas More  Essex House Ballroom), so I was not sure how to go about complementing the very different details in both, but Violet and her team nailed it (yet, again!). We literally had guests fighting over who got to take the centerpieces home with them ha  Hanna was especially helpful with this day - We had a very hands on appointment in the store a few months out, where she guided me on looks within budget and made thoughtful recs (my flower knowledge was pretty limited, prior to our chat, I came to realize...was great to feel like an educated buyer!). She even helped in sending me links for Amazon purchases I could make to elevate the vibe, without having to pay an arm and a leg to get certain things through wedding vendors (ie taper candles amongst the florals, reusing arrangements from church at reception welcome etc).  Further, I later found out about so much behind the scenes work Hanna did, on my behalf with other vendors, handling "situations" before they became real situations and making sure I was not bothered with any of that stress unless really needed.... beyond professional and gracious on all fronts! BOOK THIS FLORIST!!!!! - you and your guests will be in love with your arrangements.   Even more, you'll actually feel good about the purchase (they are not in the business of ripping people, including brides!, off)  AND get to work with some of the sweetest, most genuine and extremely buttoned-up/professional people in the game.  No matter if you are NY or NJ based, you have nothing to worry about with this group being part of your team on the big day ... they execute smooth beyond belief :-)
