Owner Shauna Hinchen-Joyal studied pastry arts at Johnson and Wales University and has worked in the baking industry for over 20 years, making specialty event and wedding cakes as well as her signature pastries. Shauna and her husband and partner Bob have been trained by an expert baristas at Atomic Coffee Roasters and are proud to serve drinks brewed with their beans. All our espresso drinks are made with our gorgeous Italian made La Marzocco machine.

HI, I am all the things that make up E(at)xactly Cakes. I am a homestead bakery here for all your cake needs. I like to keep things low key and personal. My business is a small operation but it allows me to continue the one on one experience with each of my couples. I am a lover of dogs and do have an 80lb golden who will greet you during your tasting if you would like. My music choice depends on what Im doing and how I'm feeling but most nights do end with a 70's rock dance party in the living room with my husband and 3yo. Petrova Chocolates was established in 2020 and since then we have been focusing on creating eye-catching, artisanal chocolate bonbons, truffles, chocolate bars and caramels with unique flavor combinations. Our chocolates are the perfect sweet touch to every event whether as a guest gift, a chocolate dessert table set-up or as a delicious name tag at every guest's seat. CHIC is a culmination of my retail, styling, and design background. Truthfully, the idea of this little biz was created while on lockdown during the pandemic, a little unorthodox I know, but I was determined. I identified this gap in the market the summer prior... after struggling to find a pretty dessert cart for an event at my client's new business launch. Viola! CHIC cotton candy was born, serving the cosmopolitan Boston market; giving a traditional childhood treat-- a chic upgrade. Wherever the party is, we want to be there for you! xo
