Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

Inspired by the majestic tree that stands tall over the field behind our large ballroom, The Willows is an enchanted venue not to be missed. The twisting branches and dancing leaves of the curly willow that is our namesake capture the breeze that sweeps over the surrounding hills of Lancaster County. Tucked away in the rolling fields, you can host a cozy intimate party or a large celebration in our charmed space full of roaring fireplaces and lofty ceilings. The Hanover Country Club was built in 1923 and features a beautiful backdrop of our golf course for your guests to enjoy. We have multiple locations for ceremony and/or photographs and our main ballroom holds up to 200 guests You may also tent the lawn outside for your reception.
