Big Fun was founded by 9 music education students at Southeastern Louisiana University in 2010. The idea was to create a brass band that was able to perform a wide variety of music without sacrificing style or cleanliness. More importantly the idea was to create a reliable group of musicians that could provide clients with exactly what they ask for. Her husband, YongHao Pan, D.M.A, (cello/bass) is a Juilliard-trained musician with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Music Performance. As a husband-and-wife ensemble, they perform every event together to maintain consistency and quality. They met at Louisiana State University while performing in the LSU Symphony Orchestra. The violinists hired are from the Baton Rouge Symphony. The Pan String Quartet specializes in providing elegant live music for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.
