“When my husband and I started our wedding planning journey, we wanted to find a DJ that would be able to play music form both my culture (Haitian) and my husbands (Puerto Rican). “Oh WOW. There are no words for how outstanding these guys are. We are a musical family... their musicianship awed us all. But more importantly, the LOVE that was pouring in all directions from the musicians to us, to our family and guests and back to them. He managed the normal flow like the pro that he is. First dance, guests on the dance floor with us, toast, a song to honor my mom, soft music for the meal and once the dancing started we just couldn't stop. Scott pulled together a first class ensemble (we went all out with the usual 4 plus a sax player and female lead vocalist). Of course Scott planned like crazy. We exchanged play lists. He took the time to drive over and we worked out the flow of the guests and schedule of events... but not too much so we allowed some spontaneity. The party was in our garden-- to our surprise Scott even threw in a jazz duo for the cocktail hour before the reception. Our wedding was the happiest day of our lives. From the very first phone call, it was obvious that he is someone who loves his job. He has an extensive knowledge and love of music means no matter what you want the soundtrack of your wedding or event to be, he’s got you and your guests of ALL ages covered. He was communicative, easy to work with, clearly invested in making sure we had a great time at our wedding, and that everything ran as smoothly as possible. In fact, at one point, he noticed from behind the booth that we were one man short for lifting someone up in the chair during our extensive Hora. So what did he do? He put his headphones down, ran onto the dance floor, and kept the party going! “BVTLive! was all around an excellent choice for our wedding. DJ Linx was amazing! His communication was incredible; he responded to our emails and messages quickly, usually within a few minutes to an hour. We ran through the whole night with him in a few video calls leading up to the wedding. We went through all family intro pronunciations and he double checked with everyone the day-of to make sure everything was correct. He worked with our day-of coordinator to ensure the timeline was correct and everything ran smoothly. “All I can say is WOW!!!!! For starters, working with EBE was so easy. From my first call with Mike, I knew we were in good hands. He gave us all the info and answered any questions we had. Before I get to the band, we also had a photo booth through EBE and I am so happy we decided to add it. Our guests loved it!! PLUS the attendant made an awesome album of all of the pictures with notes from our guests!! That was such a special thing to have to look through the next morning. And the attendant couldn’t have been any sweeter!! Now for the band…. We chose RIO and it was the best decision we made. Jonathan, the bandleader, was so kind and easy to work with. We emailed back and forth about what we’d like for the wedding and filled out a sheet that kinda organized all our thoughts. When we met with Jonathan we left the call and were like we are going to have the best wedding ever. He said “we’re going to knock the paint off the walls” and he did not disappoint!!!!! Rio was ELECTRIC. For one they are so so talented!! We had multiple guests say they performed songs better than the artist and we do not disagree!!! They had EVERYONE on the dance floor all night long - all different ages. And that is exactly what we wanted for our wedding. My husband and I love to dance and just love everyone being together and having a good time. You could feel the love and happiness in the room all night long and that is in large part because of Rio. The band members even came out and got on the dance floor at points and we LOVED it. They played hit after hit, fed off the crowd and perfectly fit the vibe we wanted. the next morning, the venue coordinator told us in her 15 years there, she’s never seen the dance floor that packed the entire night. She said usually there’s a lull but it never happened. And that’s all because of Rio!!! Jonathan helped us create a timeline for the night as well and it was perfect. It never felt like people were sitting at their tables for too long, which is something we really wanted to avoid. Everyone just had so much fun. We are STILL getting texts from our friends and family saying they wish they could party with Rio again. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“When I set out planning my wedding there was 0 doubt in my mind I wanted Sean Shipper and the Party Express DJs to be my disc jockey and MC for the night. Working with Sean prior to the wedding day is easy. I wasn’t over sold products or capabilities. He made suggestions he knew would work in my venue and even persuaded me to leave some options out because he knew additional lighting just wouldn’t work at my venue and time of the year I was getting married. We had a consultation where we discussed the wedding planner and he sent us an email the next day with things we may want to take a second look at or items we missed in the planner. The day of the wedding Sean arrived early greeted me and went right to work setting up. He was done in plenty of time for my ceremony and helped keep us on time. I originally told him I don’t think anyone will dance, and i made sure to give him plenty of space to choose songs he thought may work by reading the crowd. That decision to let him do his job without my hand cuffing him made a huge difference. People danced all night long to his music choices. When I went to tip him at the end of the night he tried to decline fat chance of that happening Sean… he earned every cent of his tip. My wife and I talked there’s a reason we choose Sean and our other vendors for our day.
