Olde Wicks Factory Special Event Center is a beautiful event venue housed in the historic, century-old Pipe Organ Company building in Highland, IL. We have preserved the original architectural and artistic elements of this incredible building. The Beautiful and stunning stained glass, exposed brick, and chandeliers have been updated while still keeping the historic feel.

The Barnett on Washington is a unique and sophisticated St. Louis event space, that has been making its’ client’s dreams a reality since 2013. The Barnett, which is on the National Historical Building Registry, has an extended history beginning in 1921.

The McPherson is perfect for weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, bar mitzvahs, graduations, holiday parties and corporate meetings. Original Architectural Details with State of The Art Audio and Mood Lighting Systems. A Private 5,500 Square Foot Courtyard in the Rear of the building to host outdoor weddings or events. A special wedding gazebo in the courtyard will allow brides to have the outdoor wedding they always wanted with the security of knowing that the event can easily be moved inside if the weather does not comply. The Bridal Suite is over 700 square feet and includes a private bathroom, salon quality makeup and hair counter that can seat five and a lounge area with couches, wet bar and video monitoring of the main hall so that the bride can see guests arrive. Valet parking is not required as The McPherson offers a private parking lot for 80 cars. In addition, there is a portico for the bridal party’s limousine and a covered drop off area to use during inclement weather.

Our venue is housed in a series of buildings dating back to the 1880’s. These buildings contain rustic elements with a chic industrial ambiance featuring exposed brick, hardwood floors, a pallet wall and visible rafters. Construction on the Lake Springfield Postal Club began in the early 1940s. Post office employees donated over 50,000 hours on weekends, evenings and days off to complete the building. A team of horses and a sliding bucket were used to dig out the basement. The Postal Club officially opened in 1948. The total construction cost was approximately $15,000. In 2005, there were only two of the original Postal Club members left. In 2000 the Postal Club merged with the Springfield Firefighters Local 37. In 2001 the firefighters burned down the original Postal Club to make way for a new building. The new club was completed in 2002. The total construction cost was $3.6 million. The clubhouse is surrounded by 5 acres of woods, with boathouses, docks, beaches, parking lot, sidewalks, bandstand, and much more.

Darrell Best & his wife Lisa are non-denominational ordained ministers — often referred to as licensed wedding officiants — offering affordable and convenient packages to complement and honor your special day. Darrell Best was an over-worked and underappreciated banker and his wife Lisa, a much-appreciated home daycare provider. They took a leap of faith by purchasing a 1942 American LaFrance firetruck to start a business to be called Red Hot Weddings.

Honorably named “Best Man” the mobile chapel is recognized as the world’s fastest wedding chapel by Guinness World Records. Our 1942 American La France mobile chapel is the result of a $100,000 conversion on the famed TV show Trick My Truck. It features stained glass windows, an altar, two wooden pews, and even an organ. It’s been covered by the biggest news and media outlets across the globe including World News with Charles Gibson. It’s also been featured in the LA Times, National Enquirer, and made a special trip to New York City for a photoshoot with international fashion designer Betsey Johnson!
