Serenely floating over beautiful Lake Dora, this tropical-inspired waterfront oasis is furnished with natural fibers, lovingly restored antiques, and original artwork. Tavares Pavilion consists of an 8,000-square-foot two-story event center. Both floors offer indoor ballrooms that offer floor-to-ceiling windows for a covered ceremony or reception for up to 190 guests. The Ballrooms offer elegant espresso Chiavari chairs, aircraft aluminum tables, and handcrafted artistry. Our carved, two-tier, winding wood staircase with a back glass wall overlooking the lake is a beautiful space to say your “I Do’s”. In addition, the venue has a 150-foot brick-paved pier that can be used for a stunning outdoor ceremony or a reception under the stars. Your wedding day should be nothing short of magical, and Tavares Pavilion on the Lake promises just that.

“Venue on the Lake was such a blessing for our 2020 wedding. We booked the place months before the pandemic hit, and had to postpone the event, and had many other concerns to make sure our wedding was safe and still beautiful. Communicating with Bill was so easy, and so was postponing the wedding and making sure it was socially distant. I did not have to worry about anything through the whole process and was so happy with how my wedding went, from the moment we booked until the event ended. Even when the city started construction nearby that week, they put curtains up so the orange cones wouldn't show during our ceremony. We would highly recommend working with this venue!”
