Having throughout my life a heart for restoration, I couldn’t help myself when I discovered this property. It had been neglected for years but I could see its potential and its location was perfect. It was tucked just far enough out of the city to feel the serenity of country but not so far out that it was a trip to get there. It had the perfect charm for a wedding venue with its 100 year old house with a wrap around porch surrounded by 100 year old oak trees and the old barn. We designed our venue as an all-inclusive host to your wedding to enable you as a couple and your families to enjoy the celebration while making lasting, precious memories. We guide you through every aspect of planning then execute your plan on the day of. We take charge of making your day everything you dreamt it would be and giving you the ability to focus on the enjoyment of the event rather than its delivery.

The Venue on Sealy is an elegant but simple venue located in historic downtown Alvin, TX. The building located at 225 W. Sealy was built in 1936. Over the years it had been home to several businesses, the last was Alvin hardware. So Now as new business owners, Doretha & Stephanie hope The Venue on Sealy will continue to serve the community just as the businesses in the past did. The Venue will offer small town charm with many decore options and in-house services that will allow us to create a memorable experience for our clients.
