Badger Farms, LLC is a locally owned and operated Wisconsin Barn wedding venue, custom farming business, and special events facility (i.e. banquet facility and reception hall), just minutes from Madison, WI. From the moment we opened our doors in 2006, Badger Farms has been a popular venue for barn weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, strategic planning retreats, special events, private dinners, etc. Besides being a wedding event venue, Badger Farms is also a working farm, which makes our facility well-liked in the agricultural community. Most of our 500 acres are planted with marsh hay and then sold to southern Wisconsin farmers, horse enthusiasts, and contractors daily. By offering these services to the Madison, Wisconsin area, Badger Farms is an important asset to the agri-tourism, farming, and construction community. Our goal is to give our customers and clients the personal attention they deserve.

We had a fantastic experience with Badger Farms. In planning our wedding, Dave, Betsy and Jessie were were accommodating to whatever we were thinking while also providing their vast experience from hosting events for years. We were able to have the whole event at Badger Farms including the ceremony under their gorgeous oak tree.

The Lussier Family Heritage Center

5.0

Madison, WI
  • Up to 160 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $2,750

Located 10 minutes from downtown Madison, our stunning venue offers the perfect space for your wedding. Our beautiful, lodge-style facility is surrounded by 500 acres of natural areas and features a large banquet hall, an open air solar shelter, spacious lobby with fireplace, a balcony overlooking the prairie, fire circle, 300 year old oak tree and a rustic barn exterior. The natural setting and walking trails offer plenty of opportunities for unique wedding photography.

We were married at the Lussier Family Heritage Center in October and it was perfect! We were looking for something in our budget that let us bring in our own food and beverages. They were so easy to work with and the flexibility was incredible. We loved being married under the Heritage Oak tree but there were so many other options for ceremony locations that people could chose from (old barn backdrop, back patio next to the prairie, indoors, etc). My favorite part was hearing hundreds of cranes calling in the distance as they roosted for the night. If you are looking for a beautiful, natural setting and want something where you can get creative with your catering and beverage service, this is your place!

Bean City Bar & Grill & Events

5.0

New London, WI
  • Up to 175 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $350

Bean City has been around for around for over 75 years! We have a beautiful 4 acre property with plenty of outdoor space to set up for events and parking. Inside we also have a Hall that seats around 175, two bars and a game room. We can do as little or as much as you would like. The rural country feel is the only way to go for your wedding!

We wanted to have a wedding that was outside the city with a country setting. We also wanted to have more room to ourselves and not be stuck in a tiny room for our dinner. This was the perfect place. We got to use their ballroom for our dinner and we had a private bar. They also let us set up some decor on their patio which was connected to the ballroom. I could not have asked for it to go any better. I would do it all over again if I could! Just kidding, planning a wedding sucks but we had a great time at their venue!

Julie and Dave (and their team) have brought a great venue to the area. They are such wonderful hosts, and truly have the mentality that coming together with other vendors to make a couple's dreams come to life is the ultimate goal. We have thoroughly enjoyed each and every event, and look forward to more in the years to come.
