I started photography in 2012 while in high school. I found my passion for wedding in 2017, and in 2018, at my very own wedding, was when I discovered my PURPOSE. I knew my dad was sick. Just 2 months months prior to my wedding, he had been diagnosed with ALS (lou gehrigs disease). Shortly after my wedding, his health drastically declined and he passed away. Unknowingly at the time, my photographer had captured some of the last moments of him, healthy & happy before his passing. And to this day, out of ALL 815 photos from my wedding day, the photos of my dad are my most cherished.

I married my high school sweetheart right out of college. I’m so thankful to say he’s still my favorite person after many years of marriage! I do photography part time and love my day job: raising four fantastic little people. I have a passion for connecting with others… and feel most contented when my home is filled to the brim. That’s why I love being a photographer. I get to serve and connect with kind and interesting people.

The photo was taken by me and I would guess with a basic point and shoot camera so the quality is not the best, kinda blurry, the colors are washed out but I LOVE that photo. That photo signifies to be to always be present and in the moment, because that’s the last photo I was able to take of my grandfather. But believe it or not, I'm a bit of an introvert as well. I crave solitude, naps and pizza on the regular. But hey, I'm a wife, mom of three teenagers and business owner, so solitude, naps and pizza are like staples for sanity, right? I find my peace in the mountains. I travel any chance I get. And I mean ANY chance. Hot tea gets me excited and I could live in the bathtub or shower. Oh and cheese. If you need to know something about me, know cheese.
