We are a historic banquet hall and gothic church on the National Historic Register. Weekday weddings without food are $100 or $250 with use of the banquet hall. Weekend weddings are $500 for the full day or $1000 for four full days. We can provide seating, tables, and dishes for up to 75 people.

We were very impressed from the moment we walked through the door - the venue offers plenty of rooms for the whole wedding party to be at ease, and the kitchen is a great addition that can accommodate catering needs. We believe this location would also be an excellent choice for business retreats or leadership development events, with its versatile spaces and overnight accommodations available. Overall, the St James Event Center is a great value and we highly recommend it for your upcoming celebration.

Cool Water Events is not just a wedding venue, it's a whole experience. With its rich history, stunning views, and unique amenities, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The property dates back over 100 years when it was a dairy, and more recently, a boys' school. The barn, which has been refurbished, can be used for pictures and has a 1900s doctor's buggy and a Model T for those wanting to take a trip down memory lane. Plans to rebuild the silo on the west side of the barn are in the works, and much of the original wood will be used on the exterior to maintain its authenticity.
