My makeup wasn’t quite what I was looking for on my first trial and Demi really listened to the feedback I gave and blew me away on the second try. “I had a vision for my wedding day to accentuate my long hair – soft, glamorous waves similar to an Old Hollywood look. If this is the look you're going for as well, you likely quickly discovered that this is a much more difficult look to achieve than you think. Better yet, most of the professionals who have perfected their technique charge well over 500 (one even quoted me 900) for the wedding day look and that didn't include a trial. I am all for paying vendors what they deserve for their skills and talent, but it felt so unattainable. But beyond that, these stylists booked up far too quick to even get on their books. Some others I was able to get trials with simply didn't have the skill to achieve the soft Hollywood style. I went to Coven for a haircut and met Alexis and ironically struck up a conversation about my wedding. She was inquiring about what kind of look I was going for and we ended up booking a trial for glam waves. When I say I was beyond surprised and overjoyed leaving my trial – and the wedding day?! I could not say enough amazing things about Lex. She even washed and styled my hair before my rehearsal dinner the day prior to the wedding (separate cost) so the amount of product in my hair was exactly what we wanted to work with on the wedding morning. She is the kindest, most professional soul with the talent to match. And as it is a very important factor in the process of wedding planning, the pricing is reasonable and attainable. The amount of compliments I get on my hair to this day anytime someone sees a wedding photo, and I will forever recommend Alexis and her team at Coven!!
