After I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Hearing-Impaired Education, I didn't plan to be a photographer until one day. I picked up my camera and took some random pictures. I posted some pictures on FB and several friends told me, "Girl! Seriously, you need to start a photography business and I need a family session! " Here I am. I have been doing it for seven years now, over 100 weddings and I love it!! I have amazing clients and I consider them to be family.

My passion for photography likely stems from my ability to capture moments that evoke emotion and tell stories! I was the student who had no idea what she wanted to do after High School. As my peers were applying to college with a clear career path in mind, I struggled to choose just one route. I could see myself in so many roles, and yet none of them fit JUST right. In 2011, my son was born and a new path appeared on my map: Motherhood. This role took over and nothing else mattered.
