Wedding and event band based in New York’s Capital Region. We do cocktail jazz, wedding receptions, ceremony music and more. Today, jazz is a rarity, especially in its purist live form. This condition is a result of its limited availability, and the higher prevalence of rock bands in most areas. We at T. L. Holloway seek to alleviate this issue. As students of the jazz classics, we seek to provide authentic American jazz to venues and events all over the Northeastern United States.

With 15 years and over 200 weddings of experience, I have made it a mission to make it more than just showing up and playing music. We have been performing as a band since 2003, when Jordan Shapiro formed the band with some close musician friends in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, the band has performed at hundreds and hundreds of concerts, weddings, festivals, parties, kids birthday parties, and various other kinds of family oriented events. We have an extensive songlist of over 300 songs, drawing from all styles of music, including traditional folk/bluegrass, as well as classic rock, pop, jazz and country. The band has also released 3 full length albums of original music, ranging from progressive bluegrass/newgrass instrumentals to goofy kids songs.

I am a NY-based Harpist with over 18 years of experience. I have been fortunate enough to play for dozens of professional events and weddings along the East Coast. I have performed at many different events, from weddings to corporate Holiday parties to tea parties to retirement parties. Some of the locations I have been lucky to perform include the Marriott Marquis in Times Square and The Willard Intercontinental in Washington D.C. Most recently I was selected to be a featured musician on an episode of the Drew Barrymore show!
