Spectra Food Services & Hospitality is the exclusive, in-house caterer at Gateway Convention Center. Although we do not allow outside food and beverage, we do make exceptions for wedding cakes. We offer our each couple the ability to customize the perfect meal for their big day.

Our historic event venue in Springfield has a distinctive and beautiful architectural design which is the perfect balance of vintage character, with an intimate vibe. This unique 2 story building features exposed trusses and wood beams, a huge candelabra chandelier, carved stone fireplace, large circle headed front windows, mezzanine balcony, imported quarry tile, palm modeled plaster walls, and many other original architectural elements.

Welcome to The Newly Renovated Venue at Stonewolf Golf Club & Event Center! Our Venue is a redesigned masterpiece, capable of handling a wide range of events. Boasting a large event space and a capacity of up to 200 guests, we are honored to host any event you have planned. Walnut Hall Estate is an all-inclusive wedding venue on 12 acres, offering an indoor and outdoor ceremony sites, separate bridal suite and grooms quarters, an indoor reception hall with a customizable bar package and two separate houses that collectively accommodate you, and up to 24+ of your overnight guests. Plus you get access to the grounds the day before your wedding until the day after your wedding. Sitting only an hour from St. Louis, MO and Springfield, IL. Olde Wicks Factory Special Event Center is a beautiful event venue housed in the historic, century-old Pipe Organ Company building in Highland, IL. We have preserved the original architectural and artistic elements of this incredible building. The Beautiful and stunning stained glass, exposed brick, and chandeliers have been updated while still keeping the historic feel.

Construction on the Lake Springfield Postal Club began in the early 1940s. Post office employees donated over 50,000 hours on weekends, evenings and days off to complete the building. A team of horses and a sliding bucket were used to dig out the basement. The Postal Club officially opened in 1948. The total construction cost was approximately $15,000. In 2005, there were only two of the original Postal Club members left. In 2000 the Postal Club merged with the Springfield Firefighters Local 37. In 2001 the firefighters burned down the original Postal Club to make way for a new building. The new club was completed in 2002. The total construction cost was $3.6 million. The clubhouse is surrounded by 5 acres of woods, with boathouses, docks, beaches, parking lot, sidewalks, bandstand, and much more.

Darrell Best & his wife Lisa are non-denominational ordained ministers — often referred to as licensed wedding officiants — offering affordable and convenient packages to complement and honor your special day. Darrell Best was an over-worked and underappreciated banker and his wife Lisa, a much-appreciated home daycare provider. They took a leap of faith by purchasing a 1942 American LaFrance firetruck to start a business to be called Red Hot Weddings.

Honorably named “Best Man” the mobile chapel is recognized as the world’s fastest wedding chapel by Guinness World Records. Our 1942 American La France mobile chapel is the result of a $100,000 conversion on the famed TV show Trick My Truck. It features stained glass windows, an altar, two wooden pews, and even an organ. It’s been covered by the biggest news and media outlets across the globe including World News with Charles Gibson. It’s also been featured in the LA Times, National Enquirer, and made a special trip to New York City for a photoshoot with international fashion designer Betsey Johnson! We can marry you on the road or parked at your chosen location with an unlimited guest list and then deliver you right to the reception! The ideas are limitless! The Best Man may only be scheduled for use in the Midwest from the first day of Spring to Halloween.

Crowne Plaza Springfield is an elegant and unique hotel located in Springfield, Illinois. This 70,000-square-foot event space is perfect for your glamorous wedding ceremony and reception. The Crowne Plaza Springfield is located just miles from Interstate 55 and 72. Offering both indoor and outdoor event spaces, the Crowne Plaza Springfield can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. We offer more than 30 different event spaces for couples to choose from, depending on the feel of your wedding and your guest count. Gateway Classic Events is a family-friendly classic car museum, exotic vehicle showroom, and special events venue located in O’Fallon, Illinois.
