I'm Britain! I'm a mover and a shaker, a dreamer and serial event entrepreneur! You can find me in the middle of a lively get together stirring up a good time and meeting new people (and turning them into friends). So, naturally that's how the The Social Drifter came to be.... my love of life and a fun get together! I was a wedding photographer & elopement planner for 5 years and after the hiatus thanks to the pandemic I realized how much I missed the events industry. I missed people, parties, fun, music, smiles, and helping people create memories. I figured, what the heck- let's go on an adventure and take the cocktails with us!

Brittny “Bee” Price, head chef and owner, is a Houston native who decided to turn her passion into her business. Chef Bee began her culinary experience at the age of 7 with her grandmother, and it never ended. Chef Bee, a graduate of Lamar University, decided to use both her technical skills and her love for cooking to create some great bites in Houston and the surrounding areas. Bites by Bee strives to STING the taste buds at each event. In addition to taste, we pride ourselves on presentation. We specialize in Cajun/Southern influenced dishes.

After too much Netflix and one too many puzzles, we both decided a change of scenery would be great and headed to Colorado Springs for a month. In between the perfect weather and beautiful hikes, we saw a mobile bar service—a novelty for us—and thought it would be an exciting way to test our joint entrepreneurial interest. Welcome. Chef Jason started out in the kitchen at 15 years old as a dishwasher at Red Lobster washing dishes and baking. From there, he worked many cook’s lines until I earned my first chef position under Emeril Lagasse over ten years ago. He's went on to operating casino kitchens, private dining clubs. Since relocating from Atlanta, GA Jason has gained experience in kitchen consulting and new restaurant openings. After 25 years in the industry, He is now starting a new journey into the Private Chef sector. He refers to his style of cooking as Southern Creole cooking, where it’s much more than cooking…it’s about the overall experience.

Growing up I have always been a person whose enjoyed great food. My aunt would always take me to 5-star restaurants in Beverly Hills. I never thought I would turn out to be a great cook, but my friends always seems to enjoy it. I met my husband in college and he played football, his favorite thing in the world was food. We now have three children and my favorite pass time is creating a great cuisine full of flavor. Growing up in California by way of Louisiana, Mexican, Soul Food, and Southern Cuisine are my most valued dishes.

She was classically trained at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where she obtained an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and an Associates Degree in Baking & Pastry Arts in 2015.
