Currently based in Jersey City, born & raised in Mumbai, India, my love for henna was cultivated in my own house. My best friend, my mom, once used to teach henna to 40 girls when I was in her womb and she introduced and taught me this beautiful form of art. A practicing Interior Designer by profession, I took up doing henna after moving to USA in late 2017. I got a professional advanced bridal certificate course done from Mumbai, thereafter to upscale and polish my skills.

I started my career in beauty going to cosmetology school directly after high school. For me it was a quick way to hit the job market as a young single mother. If you asked me back then I would have said "beauty school is just a way to pay for college". After graduating BS and working in a salon I started college soon to realize that beauty was my absolute calling. I was scouted by a photographer and started shooting every week. I then made my way into NYMBFW. After that, two years in I booked my first celeb client. There really was no looking back after that, I fell in love! As a senior hair designer at one of Los Angeles’s top salons (Yamaguchi at the Ojai Spa & Resort), she worked with celebrities at MTV Music Awards, Golden Globes and Jimmy Kimmel Show, as well as numerous stage productions including Andrea Bocelli’s MSG Opera.
