“It is hard to put into words how special this venue is. My husband and I toured the property with Emerald back in November 2022 and instantly fell in love with it -- it was the second venue we saw, and we didn't see any others after. There was something about Emerald's genuine care for the space and for the couples that she worked with that really stood out to us. She has a deep connection to the property and we watched her build it up into the masterpiece it is today. We got married in May 2024, and it was truly the best day of our lives. The view, the ceremony space, the reception tent, the getting-ready areas -- all of it was so full of charm and so stunningly beautiful. Our wedding party stayed in the four cabins and we stayed in the adorable honeymoon suite. When we arrived for our wedding weekend, we looked at the view and made a vow to return to this place when we could. We were able to use a golf cart to transport decorations (and people) around the property, which was a life safer! In addition to the spectacular setting, Emerald's commitment is unmatched. She communicated with us consistently throughout the 1.5 years we spent planning and answered all of our (many, many) questions promptly. She sent us little gifts, solicited feedback from us about new property changes, and connected us with other amazing vendors. Her husband Kurt was also incredibly kind and so helpful on our wedding day. Bonus: their kids are adorable!! Penobscot Bay Estate is truly a magical place and was the perfect space for us to begin our lives together. Pro tip: use the honeymoon tub! it was so fun!!”
