“Jorge from Sound Event DJs played at 2 of our son’s weddings and was absolutely fantastic, and we were fortunate to get him for my husband’s 70th birthday party. It’s now been a week, and our guests are still talking about the great music and DJ. Although we had chosen songs to play on Sound Event DJ’s easy planning website, only a good DJ knows which ones to actually play and when to play them. Jorge totally read the crowd, understood their culture (mainly Caribbean) and knew the timing…when to play the fast songs and slow ones, and when to mix them up to keep everyone on the dance floor. He also noted which songs brought back a lot of memories for us and made sure he played them. Kids, young people, old, and single filled the dance floor for every song throughout the night. “Philip and Good Musicians were truly incredible for our wedding! They provided the string duo for our ceremony, the guitarist during cocktail hour, and a 7 piece band including a male and female singer. Our guests even commented how good the guitarist was during cocktail hour! They played a wide variety of music including Spanish music, classics, country, alternative, pop etc., and nailed every song! They also did the Hora for us as well. The singers (male singer-Philip is the band manager) and the female singer sounded amazing live! The band and the DJ during the band breaks kept the energy alive all night. Philip was super responsive, even up until the day before the wedding when we made a few minor changes to song choices. We are so grateful we could have them for our wedding. For reference, we got married at The Addison in Boca Raton Florida in September 2024 in the main dining room.”

Our wedding would have undoubtedly been more disorganized and everything would have likely gotten off schedule if not for the advice and flexibility of D.J. Paulish. Especially if you don’t have a formal wedding planner, we recommend an experienced D.J. like Dan – he simultaneously went with the flow and kept everything on track. And despite some of the chaos going on “behind the scenes” with other aspects of the wedding, this D.J. kept the party going and made sure that all of that chaos stayed behind the scenes and that all of the guests continued to have a good time.
