Leonard's Palazzo was the perfect venue for our special day. The communication with their team was perfect and thorough - they responded quickly to all our questions and made sure we had all the details ironed out ahead of time. The venue itself is big, spacious and simply beautiful. The staff was very attentive and patient throughout the entire event, making sure everything flowed smoothly. When I got a bit frustrated, they even held my hand to reassure me! Everyone we worked with was polite, nice and professional. The venue was absolutely breathtaking and all the staff were so attentive. Communication was always on point - they always called back within a reasonable timeframe and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend The Village Club at Lake Success to anyone! Our wedding was absolutely amazing. Barry & Amy were such an incredible team to work with. Barry will answer your questions very quickly and is so helpful throughout the entire process! Amy is great the day of the wedding to make sure the bride has everything she needs and that everything is running smoothly. They are so wonderful. They will work through any last minute issues with you! For example, we decided to move the ceremony from outside to inside because of the weather (pretty last minute) and Barry was very accommodating with his staff to make the move very seamless. He even put the Chuppah inside the ballroom to make the room even more special and beautiful than I ever could have imagined! The food is also AMAZING - we got so many compliments on the food from our friends and family. The ballroom is just a beautiful room and with the view of the lake, it's really an amazing venue. We cannot recommend Barry & Amy enough and this venue, and would tell everyone to get married here!

Our experience with the Douglaston Manor was an actual dream come true! From the moment we walked in to see the Manor, Kathy, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful. Relaxed, sweet, and so caring about us and what we wanted, she never made us feel pressured or nervous and gently made suggestions which ended up making our night even better than we could have hoped. Working with Carlos our Maitre D and Michelle my Bridal Attendant was a blessing. Michelle was so attentive and helpful. Within minutes of meeting her, I felt like I was spending time with a good friend. She was so funny, kept me calm and literally did anything and everything I needed- most of the time without me having to ask her. The same could be said for Carlos. Just to give a small example, my fake eyelash starting come off a tiny bit. Without any eyelash glue on us, I was nervous about how we would fix the issue but The Manor proved how above and beyond they'd go when Carlos, unpromoted and unknown to me at the time, went out and brought me eyelash glue! It was a small gesture but it went a long way and showed me how devoted the Manor is to their clients. Michelle made sure he knew exactly what to get and she helped me fix it when he came back (which was unbelievably quick as well) . Carlos was fantastic at keeping my group organized and making sure the ceremony was perfect. We are so grateful to both of them. Aside from their exceptional service, the staff at the manor was outstanding- every room was impeccably decorated and arranged exactly as we had hope, all of the items we had brought with us for various aspects of the night were set up perfectly without instruction and the attention to detail was second to none. The food. I am biased seeing as it was my own wedding, but the food was incredible from start to finish. The cocktail hour sampling that Michelle left from my husband and I including EVERYTHING being served downstairs and was presented beautifully- time was clearly taken to make sure we were able to try the food but also have it presented to us in a really special way. Kathy had suggested we try an "off-menu" item, braised beef in a red wine sauce, and no surprise, it was easily the best tasting wedding dinner item I've had at any wedding. There are so many things that go into making a wedding day perfect and that means there are so many things that are easy to stress over. Not once during the planning process or on the big day did I ever feel worried or concerned. Everybody communicated clearly, checked and double checked things and did everything possible to ensure everything was perfect- not just great, but genuinely perfect. Oh, and the cost was VERY reasonable. Kathy worked with us every step of the way to accommodate our budget while making sure the elements we wanted were included. We are looking forward to going back to the manor for future celebrations and feel so thankful to have been treated so well. They made our day everything we ever could have hoped for!

We got married at Engineers Country Club on 9/21/24, and it was the best day of our lives. Ben and his team went above and beyond, and provided exceptional service. From our very first tour, to our wedding day, and all of the planning in between, Ben and his staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. We had never been to ECC before, so we solely chose the venue based on our first impression, and it was the best decision we could've made. The property is stunning. The inside is beautiful, bright, recently renovated, and clean. Ben was always quick to respond to emails and always made himself available to answer any questions we had (and we had a lot!). He was beyond accommodating, patient, and did everything with our best interest in mind. We want to thank Ben and his staff for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. They made sure everything remained on schedule per our timeline and every single thing went perfectly! You always hear people say that something is bound to go wrong on your wedding day, but we can't relate. Vicki, my bridal attendant, was also a dream come true. She was my shadow throughout the entire day and night. She is so incredibly sweet and cared so much about making sure I had what I needed at all times. She took photos and videos on my iPhone throughout the day and night, so we have so much awesome content to hold us over until we get the professionals back. The food was endless and delicious. People are still raving about our cocktail hour and the sushi. We could go on and on, but we'll leave it with this: If we had the chance to redo our wedding, we wouldn't change a thing. You read many times that the SCM staff is absolutely incredible, and there is nothing more true! Ian is one of the kindest, caring, most thoughtful and passionate individuals I’ve ever met. From our finals meeting, we clicked and he has done absolutely anything he can to be sure we would have a special day. From setting up decor, to the ceremony running exactly on time, to encouraging guests to play our games and sign our guest book…. he does it all. Let me tell you from someone who was constantly on the fence about getting a DOC - you won’t need one with Ian. At least from the second you arrive at Sea Cliff. He wants to work with you to be sure it is a special day for you!! Camille was fabulous, bustling me all night, keeping us fed, reminding us to “mangia” Every server and bartender we came across was super personable and friendly. It was truly the happiest day of our lives!! They are the whole package. Responsive, caring and the kindest most genuine people and is so refreshing after touring so many other LI Venues that do not show the same level of care. You will not regret booking with Sea Cliff!!

The team at the Garden City Hotel was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first spoke with them, they were easy to communicate with and very responsive to all of our questions and requests. The space itself was absolutely stunning - the ballroom was beautifully decorated and the outdoor gardens provided a lovely backdrop for our photos. But what really made the day special was the outstanding service we received. The bridal attendant, Nang, was with me from the moment I put on my dress until the very end of the night, ensuring I had everything I needed and helping to make the day run smoothly. The events directors, Paul, Merril, and Jose, were also incredibly helpful, working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. We and all of our guests had an absolutely wonderful experience, and we can't thank the Garden City Hotel team enough for helping to make our special day so memorable.

My husband and I just got married at Terrace on the Park on 2/17/24 in the Penthouse. The venue is absolutely stunning. We had looked at plenty of venues before selecting this one. From the start, Mildred was so helpful. Answering any questions we had and making sure all of our expectations were met and exceeded. The finalist manager, Nicole, was also amazing. Both her & Mildred were there on our wedding day to make sure everything went as planned. The chapel was set up beautifully for our ceremony, and the cocktail hour in the garden suite was amazing (from what we heard). The venue itself provides breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding landmarks, such as the world’s fair globe, citifield, Arthur Ashe stadium, and others. I wish I could go back to the beginning and plan it again with the same people!

We hosted our baby shower at My Kitchen this past Spring and could not have asked for a better experience. Their on-site coordinator was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process to bring our event to life. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner via email and during our in-person visit as well. She was also very fair in helping us negotiate minor menu changes and space allocations so the event was totally customized to our needs. The day of the party the staff was available to help in setting up our decor, which was a huge relief. They were all also very attentive to our guests, ensuring they were welcomed warmly and had a drink upon arrival. We opted for a family-style brunch and everyone raved about the food. It was absolutely delicious and abundant. Even the freshly baked pastries were incredible. Throughout the event, the coordinator and owner checked in with my frequently to ask if I needed anything which was such a nice touch. We were so happy to our decision to support this wonderful local business and would highly recommend them!
