My Old Kentucky Barn is a new venue in an old tobacco barn. The 1800’s barn is situated on over 50 acres on Main Street in Williamstown, Kentucky. Our owner John grew up in Williamstown and, along with his brother Mike, spent a lot of time painting the white board fence and planting Canna bulbs in the spring. John is only the fourth owner of the property in 180 years. The Webb Family were the longest running owners. In fact, they donated land from the property to form Webb Park to the south. John and Edna Risen purchased the property in 1976 and sold it to John over 15 years ago. There is so much history here and we are excited that others can now enjoy the barn. Even though the outside of the barn looks new, all of the old detail is still there on the inside. We know that brides and grooms will make great memories here with their families. It will also be the perfect venue for milestone birthday parties, reunions and other memorable events.

The building, was used as a hunting lodge for Western & Southern executives in the early 1900s before being restored in 1942 by Walt Ballanger, who made his mark in the community by serving delicious smokehouse ribs. The Elisha Morgan Mansion is a Flemish Bond brick farm mansion, built in 1817, and stands as a treasured historic landmark in the City of Fairfield. It has been determined that the house, as it presently stands, was constructed in three stages. The original Federal-style front portion, facing Ross Road, was built for Elisha Morgan in 1817. The second Greek Revival-style extension was added in 1858 by David Hueston. There is also a one-story third addition with a shed roof.

The Mane on Main is a private event space located at 201 East Main Street, on the 15th floor of the Chase Bank building in downtown Lexington. Our current wedding package starts at $4,500 and includes use of house, barn and grounds for the weekend and includes chairs, tables and table cloths.
